I love your videos! I learn so much from them each and every week. Are there any courses on copywriting or BtoB copywriting that you would recommend to someone just starting out?
1. What can you do for me? Have CTA in there. 2. Why should I listen to you? ( somewhere on homepage include a story about your company or USP and mission) 3. What makes you legit? Social proof, testimonials or link to your social media accounts 4. What do you do? 5. Where do I start? How to get in touch with you. Suggest contact if no freebie... Keep CTA relevant to your USP. 6. Why should I stick around? Link your homepage to other pages in your site.
I have binge watching all of your videos. I made a Playlist because this information is the golden nugget for e-commerce. None of the shopify people are teaching what you teach and it's hard to get conversions without this. I will be applying all of it to my store.
I am convinced the ABOUT was designed and created specifically to Detect Canadians. That word gets them every single time no matter the age, race or gender ...
This video inspired me to email my tech guy to have him include more of my social proof/media appearances on my home page. Thanks for the ideas Alex! :)
Thank god for you Alex, honestly, these videos are a lifesaver. In addition to your already incredible Copy Posse Program and OTI Challenge, these videos are so easy to follow and informational that I feel so much better about my beginner skills.
The perfect Home page should grab the visitors attention tell what seperates you from the competition. Then show them the benefits to them and to pick up the phone and call you. Take your visitors from the top of the Home page to the bottom with a strong call to action. If you only have a minute to sell them you want to get them to the CTA fast.
Alex, I feel like I need to write a comment on your video, even though I have nothing specific to say or ask. So I'm just writing my unfiltered thought here about wanting to write something. How do you manage to have such engaging vibes?
Hey Alex! Can you please elaborate the difference between Step 1 and Step 4. I feel both are pretty same. Also, the gist of the video is to focus on brand fundamentals and clear concise copy in order to standout. Am I Right?🤔
Step 1 = Telling your potential client what you can do for them (what is the results of working with you? Is it more free time, more sales for their business etc.) Step 4 = What you do - specifically what services do you offer. Hope this helps!

Hi Alex. Your videos have been helping me a lot as an aspiring copywriter. Thank you so much. Do you have a video tutorial for writing product descriptions (e.g. Shopify)?
Hey Alex, very helpful content! I have a question tho.... How do I give my client the copy.... as in....Do I just write it on a words document and give it to them and explain where everything is supposed to go? Or do I have to do have to put it on their site myself? Or do I have to wire frame my vision? It would mean a lot to me if you would answer my question
Hello Alex thanks for precise information We are a BTL marketing platform I want to discuss with you one thing Instead of telling whats in there for the clients and who i am Can I start with why even they should listen to me
Thanks, very timely I need to setup my website, and I have no Idea what contents I should put, autoresponder companies rejected my account because I don't have credible website.

Hey Natalie! I think it largely depends on your business - I think in general, most businesses that sell an offer need a website. However, if you're a freelancer and asking about needing a website for yourself.. that's definitely a personal judgement call. Not necessary by any means!
I've got a question. I was always taught to NOT put your social media links on your page or at least bury them in the footer, because it defeats the purpose of keeping prospective clients on your site. Pushing them to social media gives them too much of a chance to get distracted and never come back before getting them to book or buy. Facebook, Tim Tok, Instagram, Twitter, etc. all have things in place to keep people distracted jumping from page to page or different clips sometimes for hours and increase the time on THEIR sites. Do you see this as a problem or should I not be worried about it?
As a general rule, you never want to steer people off your website or page (unless you are intentionally directing them somewhere as part of a CTA). It really depends on the context of your page. For example, if it's a sales page I definitely would not be driving traffic to your social media pages, because then people may bounce and not buy. Hope that helps!
@@AlexCattoni It does! Thanks a lot! I have a service based site, orthopedic sports massage, and I would generally use the social media to drive traffic TO my site for info and conversion, but eliminated social icons going back out.
Follow the same general steps, but obviously you may have to leave out certain things that aren't applicable - and that's okay! Not every homepage will be identical, especially when it comes to ecommerce vs service-based
@@AlexCattoni thank you as always you're awesome! As soon as I have the funds I'm going to sign up for your membership as I know it will be invaluable to my business and success
You need to answer to all the objections. I've read somewhere that you need to raise the objection and then answer (resolve) it. I know how to resolve. But how do i raise the objection ? Like “ Do you think that .... (objection) - ... it's not . “ ?

Can I start with why even they should listen to me
Sure! But if you start off with talking about YOU, you run the risk of losing interest. Remember people want to know what's in it for THEM.
Straight Info Great video
Thanks!
I had to laugh. One SM post claimed you were an actress playing a Copywriter. Where do people come up with this stuff?😄
Honestly!

Why should I listen to you
Are you legit
What do you do
Where do I start
Why should i stick around

Sorry what do you mean?
You need to answer to all the objections. I've read somewhere that you need to raise the objection and then answer (resolve) it.
I know how to resolve. But how do i raise the objection ?
Like “ Do you think that .... (objection) - ... it's not . “

Does a copywriter need a webpage, same as a content writer?
Not necessarily. I find it can help to add one to your portfolio if you have a blog, etc. But you don't need one to start.
