What city is loop 840 in? Just curious. I'm from Dallas but drive through Houston quite often on the way to Galveston to go fishing and hang out at the beach.
I've always wanted to drive the entire 610 loop in one go yet never done it, yet I have driven all of it over time. So cool to see the entire Interstate in one video.
13:45 if you were wondering what that ramp is, that's the skyline for the BRT(bus rapid transit) silver line. It's houston first partial length skyline for the fixed transit called BRT. If it does transition to a LR in the future, and the plan the same, then it will be the 2nd rail to have a partial skyline. But 1st one to be longer then the station one from the red line.
7:00 major bottleneck at I-45, hopefully will be better after expansion. 7:40 only two lanes, not safe and a bottleneck. 14:03 goes down to four lanes because the tree huggers didn't want to go a few feet into Memorial Park, should be 5 lanes the whole way. 19:00 poor deign on junction ramp, should be 3 lanes to get on to 59/I69, major cause of traffic over there. The design around 20:30 is an example of how a freeway should be. State did not fight hard enough for ROW in other parts.

I had seen some successful channels that make similar content before so I figured it could get lots of subs, I just didn't know how long it would take or exactly how people would respond to the content.
This is quickly becoming my go-to driving footage channel. You cover the classics very well but you also cover the downtown areas too.
Thanks for the support! Glad you're checking out the videos.
Mike, you have never impressed me this much with your Texas videos. I thank you.
610 in Houston is much than the one in New Orleans
Nice freeways I wish my hometown had the power Houston has and completely finish our outer loop 840

@@trevorjameson3213Nashville, the completed portion is 77 miles and it could come close to being the longest beltway.
Nice video Texas Mike I find it cool how most of your driving videos involve interstates I honestly love them
Thanks 👍
That interchange at 7:30 might be upgraded to the 5 level stack in the next decade.
A 5 level stack would fit right in here in Houston.
Oh, trust me, it will thanks to the I-45 downtown project.
I been on I 610 in Houston
Hey Mike! I love your interstate videos and just became a subscriber. Thank you for the time and work you put into them.🚘🎥
Welcome aboard! I appreciate you watching.
Amen.yes.he does.only 1 i ever watch.
🛣️Freeway driving; the ultimate real life video game.🛣️

Love the West Loop portion from the interchange with I-10 through Uptown to the interchange with the Southwest Freeway.

Nice drive along I 610 outer towards Houston
Thanks
Must be a awesome drive on interstate 610 loop and the nrg stadium is the home of my favorite football team which is the Houston Texans
This is the OTHER 610 (and the much larger one, especially between 12:00 and 13:00).
That doesn't take an hour to drive around I-610.
Very nice.
Yep. Now the Sam Houston Beltway on the other hand...
@@MileageMikeTravels oh yeah, that's the longest beltway in America and I think the world too.
This is actually cool
Absolutely!
13:30 to 20:00 is the second-most congested freeway in Texas. Only I-35 through downtown Austin is worse.
I can believe that. It was congested almost everyday I was in Houston.
Dont call it the 610 beltway. Its the 610 LOOP.
Beltway 8 is "the beltway". (Another larger loop that runs outside the 610 loop.)
What Trip’s U Got Coming Up Next Mike After Leaving Houston,Texas
Have to wait and see.

610 (comment posted on 6/10 at 6:10 PM watching an I-610 video).
womp womp
i think my dad was in this vid
Ive driven this entire loop many times...just not all at once.
At 38:48 there is an exit but I see no sign as to what the exit is. That's kind of odd.
Market Street I think.

610 is the first(inner) loop of the three loops that surround Houston. That 610 and 45 interchange is the worst, very out dated
Oh yeah that interchange definitely needs some work.
