Just beautiful! I am so jealous of your cottage garden especially the Italian Ice Rose… Wow! Thank you so much for a great video and you deserve a boring season after the devastation you have been thru… stop and smell the roses!
Having more sun has made a huge difference. I can't believe that I got everything done. There is always weeding and watering, but I can actually sit back and relax in June, which is one of my favorite months. Thanks for watching.
I love seeing what other people do with plants that I have also. I prefer more purple and blues and have much of what you do. I also have a large collection of oriental and daylily, mullien, yarrow, cone flowers, desert candles, and blue balloon flowers. I have far less luck with delphinium and lupine however and I'm jealous. I may have to try seeds and see if I have better luck. Vicki
Thanks for posting. I'm in Ontario and see most of your choices would grow in my zone. I love my Veronica but will try starting some from seed. I have cats pajamas and they have not fallen apart like yours but mine get water off the roof, more than I thought they would like. My biggest problem is rabbits eating my lilies. The eat the early hosta shoots and even hens and chickens (plant not fowl.) 😊
I know rabbits have gotten to a few of my plants, but I never see them around, which is weird. I usually spot them once in a while. Thanks for watching.
I watch through UA-cam and have surround sound on TV so airplane sounds and dog sounds are really kind of cool to hear and the birds sound great . Your 1080 p looks clear really makes everything looks bright and colourful. Everything looks fantastic of course .we're finally getting rain this morning as I write this to you, hope you are as well.
We got no rain. It all went around and with the temps being in the 90's now, I will have to pick and chose what I water again. Glad you got rain and thanks for watching.
Love the pink goblin veronica. I'll need to see if I can find some to grow next year from seed. My white Veronica is one of the plants the rabbits tend to leave alone in my garden.
Wow. Your June cottage garden is magazine-worthy. Beautiful and so unique! Thank you for sharing, Susie! And the pixie tufted grass is beautiful; I can imagine it looks even better in person with it swaying in the wind. If you’re looking for other grasses, I’d recommend Northern Sea Oats grass. Native grass, lovely seed heads, and tolerates shade & damp conditions. Although be warned - it is aggressive! Spreads my seed & rhizome. Happy gardening!
I did plant some Northern Sea oats about 3 years ago, but the creeping jenny smothered it. It is a really neat grass. Thanks for watching and your awesome comment.
Everything is amazingly beautiful. I would love to see the list of all that is grown in your garden. I'm in the same zone and afraid to grow certain plants.
It is so hard to make and maintain a garden! I’ve never been into this until 2 years ago and I don’t have patience so it’s hard to see everything growing so slow 😂 yours is really a dream and a goal!!!
I absolutely love your garden!!! ❤All your plants and flowers are beautiful . I wished I had a large space like you. Your neighborhood looks great too! What great weather your having. I live in Texas with heat wave. 😩 ugh! What was the plant that you said smells really good.
Beautiful garden! What is the red rose? I'm sure you've mentioned before, I just forget. I just got a bare root Canadian Shield and it'll be a few years before it grows and settles so living vicariously through others gardens. Thank you!❤
Very impressive considering you live in such a cold climate during the Winter and it's takes so long to warm up in Spring. I'm in Iowa and we get cold too. What do you feed your plants. They are so lush and healthy.
I only fertilize my hostas with chicken manure pellets, sometimes. I am not the best at keeping up with the fertilizing. I still need to fertilize my roses and I I use a granule rose fertilizer. I do make my own compost, but I usually put that on my raised vegetable beds. Thanks for watching.
What a wonderful variety! So beautiful!

That's good to know, because right now the rabbits are an issue. Thanks for watching.

When I start my garden tours, I will try to name a few more varieties and list them in the description. Thanks for watching
Stunning!!
Thank you! 😊
Beautiful garden
Gorgeous! I know I’ve said this before, your garden is definitely one of my favorites on UA-cam! Deanna
Thanks for watching and your kind comment.
I had the same problem with nepeta. Dividing them each year helps. They stay small and get going a little later but they don't flop.
Some of these Nepeta were planted last year. I like it, but I may try to find something that is a little less maintenance. Thanks for watching.
Thanks Susie. 🌸💚🙃

I love my perennial gardens. It does take a bit for them to fill in, but it is worth the wait. Thanks for watching and good luck with your garden.

So lovely! Curious where you acquired veronica seeds and what varities you sowed?
I get most of my perennial seeds from swallowtailgardenseeds.com. I have the sightseeing mixture and pink goblin. Thanks for watching.
What I did was buy 4' long bamboo sticks (10 in a pack?) And I spike it as support with twist ties all my foxgloves, so they don't snap off
Thanks for watching.
Things are looking good despite the drought.
Thanks for watching.
