I planted Seclusion 360 mix in my destination plot, is it as attractive as Soybeans or Brassicas?

- In this video I highlight my hidden destination plot where I planted Seclusion 360 chicory/clover blend, and share footage of how the deer reacted to it from a recent hunt on that plot.
Good to see you again. All the best with the crops this season. See you on the next!
Looks great Jake
Well done
Loved the video Jake! Your deer are spoiled big time!
You always have good looking plots. Good luck this cold front!
it is a question I have wondered about the last few weeks...Good luck to all!!!
can you put this in as a fall planting with maybe oats as a cover
You can it's a pernnial and needs adeqate time to germinate & grow roots to survive the winter and browse pressure if thats a problem.
My Doe love that Chicory !! This was my 1st year with it . Def be expanding its presence on my Ranch🥬🥬
Jake, we have always added chicory in with our clover mix, and have been very pleased. What do you do to keep weeds suppressed? Thanks, Bob
Thats great to hear Bob, I use IMOX hebicide to remove grass & broadleaves it's safe to use on clovers & chicory, per label suggestions.
Thanks keep up the good work. Looking forward to your comments on the additions to your switch plantings. Bob
Drought only lasts a couple of months? New Mexico is a permanent drought. I need a cover crop blend but I can’t afford to pump the water for it. Sorghum grass and clover are better but still require water
What’s your secret for the awesome looking food plots??
No seceret john, take my time, try to plant when there's some moisture in the soil and not to skip any details.
With that much land and the means to plant feed that bring it deer it's no wonder you have so many deer. I hunt public land in SW NH and it's a free for all.
