That's why I have so many used berenguers. The plan was to practice painting with them. Kits are just too darn expensive for practice. But I love them so much I'm having issues doing so. 😂 Maybe if I convince myself I'll make them into full on reborns......it'll get me going. Such a nice thing to do. Around here I wouldn't have a way to get dolls to foster kids. But we're quite rural & in a pretty economically depressed area & thought fixing up used dolls for children who don't have much would be a nice thing. Not to mention donating to the elderly in nursing homes too.

Can you take a starving kit, reborn doll, and transferred over to all vinyl? I just bought one off of Amazon the one I have it has Close eyes and I don’t like it
I have two cloth body vinyl dolls that I got used, and they are stained. I want to give them a new body, but I don’t know how the limbs are attached, I don’t see a zip tie. Only the head has one.
Ok, I got a head from a reborn kit of a 29” doll. Need to attach it to a 23” body w/zip ties. Am I likely to encounter problems of the head being bigger & do you have suggestions?
