Im seeing these manufacturers really stepped up their game, and then with a little extra reborning by the new mom or dad , we are having gorgeous babies for an affordable price. Times are getting harder and people just can't shell out for the artist dolls anymore. But that doesn't mean they shouldn't have an option for a baby that brings them some comfort. I have authentic and manufactured dolls and to be honest , other than a few of them, most people can't even tell a difference anymore. I see the future of this being a 3 level hobby. Rich people with authentic s, middle class with a mix of authentic and manufactured, and lower income with manufactured only. And I think all 3 will have their niche.

Beautiful! Are there belly plates this size for him? I would like a girl, but be able to outfit her with a belly plate, especially for summer with all kinds of summer rompers, etc. I would probably weight her a little, or something. I have a painted hair one so making the big jump and getting me a rooted one w blonde hair, then I wanna get me the AA Rooted one I think she’s absolutely gorgeous! I’m wanting one of every kind they’ve put out lol I took stuffing out and going to weigh him but I’m so in love w mine as well I was worried about the lips too but figured for the price I’d risk it because I’ve seen so many of the replicas and can’t get over how well they are done and the lips on mine were fine too. I KNEW IT!!! Pickle! I have 9 reborns and he’s one of the last ones I bought and INSTANTLY became my favorite! He’s so easy to find clothes for and never takes bad photos. I love him so much! Mines name is Kieran 🥰 btw I think the pickle that has hair is the one with the dark pink lips

I’m so glad the replicas are getting their due. It’s a great way to be a member of the doll community (which I think is an awesome one, for the most part) without using your rent money hahaha. I never understood how people could spend so much on a baby and take the chance of not loving it when it arrived. If I order a baby for less than 100 (most around 50), if I don’t like/bond with it, I can give it to a child and make them happy. I’m nesting for my Eric sculpt (I blame Seena, Just kidding). The pickle looks better than the artist doll just my opinion

He is gorgeous love his painting I watched Seena's video yesterday she was totally on point with what she said about the manufactured painted doll you can't really tell a difference so the artist better step up if they want to compete with the factory painted dolls cause it is too expensive to by an artist painted doll and people want to enjoy their dolls and be able to afford them

Thank you for saying this. It has gotten so unreasonable. I'm about ready to go back and start doing my own dolls again because seriously why are you charging so much. My only problem is my wrists just can't take rooting. I do have some authentic dolls and there is one I still want that I will get from an artist. I really want to find an artist I love because I have a kit I never made but I need to find someone I absolutely trust with her. We shall see with that. People need to remember the history of reborns when they start charging people that much.
