Trying to land all aircraft on 1 runway is a good idea until it isn't .. might have been better to direct some landings onto the other runway.. I have this game and love playing it but it does my head in every time LOL
Cool idea, it might look better if you added callsigns to each aircraft icon like in real ATC, and even better if you could add the callsigns in the radio transmissions. You'd never hear just a plain "Cleared for takeoff" without the controller saying who he's talking to.
This is some really nice gameplay. I see a lot of fun ways to use this formula, ways that might lie close to real aviation (because that's what I find interesting). Restricted runway departures (to mimic irl wind constraints); the occasional airplane announcing a go-around, or maydays with a timer; the opportunity to shift between and build -within- different "modes" if you want to change the traffic pattern, etc. It's a cool concept you have here, and I think you've worked out the right level of abstraction.

I try that next go round in Shanghai.

I didn't make this game (only saying this because there's a vibe in this comment that feels like you are trying to reach the creator), but thanks!
