I never thought I'd have Ro Laren, Seven of Nine and Changelings in the same story... People are gonna call this fanservice, but I really don't care. I've been waiting through two abysmal seasons of Picard for the TNG/DS9/VOY era characters and stories to be treated with the respect that they deserve. And I'm getting. If this is fanservice, I'm all for it.
With the Changeling conspiracy, we could see the return of Odo (likely in a new form). If the Pah Wraiths is also involved as some has theorized, that would certainly guarantee the return of the only being who could beat them - The Sisko 😉
Part of me thinks someone or something beams her out off-screen before her shuttle explodes and we'd see Michelle Forbes announced as the new lead of the 'Section 31' series sometime soon. Stay tuned.

What was so heart breaking about this scene is that Picard found his daughter again, only to lose her once more. I know that he was her mentor but I remember from TNG that she didn't have parents and Picard became Ro's father. The performances by Patrick Stewart and Michele Forbes were incredible in this episode.

This season, is what "Picard" should've been from the beginning. I never, ever looked for Ro Laren to return, never thought of it, and when she did it did something Star Trek hasn't done since I was a kid in a movie theater watching Data's original death, make me cry. Now with the Dominion, or rather Changleings back, I just hope they bring back that one awesome character, who'd never sit idly by with them on the loose and would be back with a back shooting vengeance,... Michelle Forbes has did it again. Playing a strong charismatic sci-fi character who are intelligent yet tough, no-nonsense leaders. However, her characters tragically perished soon after they have made their impression on us. She did it at "Battlestar Gallactica" playing Admiral Cain and now she does it again in "Picard" playing Ro Laren 😢
1:29 - 2:12 I'm glad Picard managed to tell Ro how proud he is of her accomplishments and apologized for what he did to her in "Preemptive Strike" all those years ago. If this is Ro's final appearance in the Trek-verse, I'm glad that both of them made their peace before she went out in a bang 😥
I'm holding on to a small hope that Michelle Forbes is actually auditioning for the new lead in the "Section 31" Trek series since Michelle Yeoh is thought to be unlikely to star in it given her recent big screen successes. Ro Laren is a senior Starfleet Intelligence officer who leads a team - including Worf and Raffi - investigating the Changeling infiltration. Looks like the perfect launching pad to be a future Head of Section 31, don't you think? 😉

Terry Matalas said Ro was beamed off the shuttle before the explosion but they didn’t have enough time to show it. So Ro can make an appearance in Legacy if they make that series
Her last act she goes down like a hero, she sacrificed herself to give Picard and the titan's crew a fighting chance to live. If your going to go out I can think of no finer a way to go. I hope she is remembered as a hero in Star Fleet records.
Two things I've learned from Trek. 1) You can always redeem yourself by stealing a shuttle and sacrificing yourself. 2) Shuttles, transporters, and tractor beams are easy to override.
The only thing I hated about this season is how they talked up Denise Crosby’s return only to have it be a hologram of Tasha. Luckily, they made up for it with returning ro who is a favorite character of mine only to kill her off after one episode so I guess it’s full circle

And then the Dominion engineered their war with the Klingons, which drove them to desperate lengths. They listened to the narcissistic ramblings of the power hungry Dukat and followed him into the changelings’ arms… tentacles… you know… Did the Maquis play a part in this outcome? Marginally, yes. But it’s disingenuous to put all the blame on them… Especially when the Spoonheads had it coming.

It's a lot more complicated than what you think. You don't have a Borg sphere go back in time by over 300 years only to crash on Earth and not have temporal repercussions. It's called a bootstrap paradox, which, in this case, changes the timeline. The moment the remains of the Borg sphere was discovered, that's where the timeline deviated. So: - Enterprise, Discovery, Strange New Worlds, Lower Decks, Nemesis and Insurrection all take place in Prime-B (timeline after the Borg crash lands on Earth.) - TOS, TAS, TNG (up until Enterprise-C), DS9 is in Prime universe, Voyager and First Contact (before the time rift) is Prime timeline - TNG (after Enterprise-C), Generations, Voyager (up to when Admiral Janeway enters the timeline), First Contact (up to Enterprise-E entering the time rift to the past) is Prime-A1 timeline. - Voyager (after Admiral Janeway enters the timeline) is Prime-A2 timeline. So, technically, we're keeping track of four Prime variants: Prime, Prime-A1, Prime-A2, Prime-B And, let's not get into the Kelvin timeline.
