James Gunn maybe my favorite Director he is one of the best directors out there. He's so creative so imaginative such a great writer and just the basic fundamental human level he's so great huge inspiration I love him peacemaker show is one of the best shows ever talk about movie quality, best superhero show ever made that is not an exaggeration.
I’ve been avidly keeping track of his career since 2014 with the original guardians. He’s still got that underdog energy that charms the tail off a donkey. I hope Hollywood keeps calling on him. The industry needs people like him now more than ever, a truly unique creative.

Great to hear a shout-out to the Specials. It's a microbudget movie, but it's a great way to show the start of many of Gunn's themes. (Gunn did not direct, but wrote and starred in it) It looks like crap and has no action, but it's got amazing characters. I always say it's the best movie made with no resources that I've seen.
Coming back to confirm, Vol 3 is in fact, the saddest movie of all time ☠️
