@@enzyme35 I noticed that, too, so I checked it out. The specs indicate that they offer 'Full Coach Raise & Lowering' to facilitate ADA ramp entry. The family probably brings it down when they're in 'living' mode.
@@chrisstrube5909 I'm not in the least mechanical, but I knew what to look for because my husband used to drive a Citroën DS with hydropneumatic suspension. I always found it eerie to see it rise and lower; I called it 'The Shark'.
@4:49 - I loved the simplicity of the galley!! The blue paint and the epoxy finishing..!! I am sorry, if I am commenting right on the timeline of the video... But, I will do it again..
Amazing, Practical, Beautiful. I can't believe more people esp parents don't have secure seatbelt-able seats. Good on ya to notice the need in your new build and accomplish it without sacrificing aesthetic.
Isn’t that law in the US? In Europe you‘re not allowed to transport anyone that’s not securely belted down. Even if you travel by a commercial coach you need to wear a seatbelt.
Hey Team... Even before I began watching this Ep, I loved the innocence the family have.. Loads of love to Chris, Ashley and the cute little princess Eva!!
Your bus is amazing, but that battery bank and the engineering of All of the energy systems is mind-blowing! I am sure you guys are going to get your chickens and a garden. Have a lovely life, as you are doing now :)
Have you ever been to Southern Illinois? As long as you have skills to either work from a computer, or work anywhere (construction, etc.), Southern Illinois is a beautiful area to settle. There is a little town called Makanda, that provides many areas where you can purchase land. Makanda has a very layed back vibe for folks who like to live off the land and enjoy the nature around us! Just north of Makanda is a major State University. With that brings a lot of culture and variety to the area!
Agree with great esthetics and function of the bus. Realize you might not want your kids in the video but would have been nice to hear ages and how many kids, puppies usually travel and how you manage. . Bus looks very low riding but I don't know anything about bus suspensions. Must have cost a mint to buy and build the bus out. Definitely not an inexpensive bus. Good luck and safe travels.
2 of our boys were in WI and 2 in SC with their other parents! They are 9,10,15&16! 💕 Puppies are most comfortable in their kennels and sleep the whole time LOL. Thanks for your questions!
The bus airs up when running so the suspension comes up about 6”. Our kids are 16, 14, 10, 9 and 4. The oldest are with us sometimes and not others so we can get away with smaller sleeping areas. Thanks!
So sorry! It was a hectic morning! We were actually supposed to film with someone else and Brad came through when the husband forgot his plan with us 😂
Love your home and story - beautiful. Several years ago I decided peace was important to me. Therefore I was never a big earner but I had time to enjoy life . Now I am retired I say I am poor as a church mouse but happy as a clan because while my retirement money is not huge to be able to spend each day enjoying my life is a great trade off The Lird has been good to me. Safe travels and blessings to you
Solar is on point!!!!!! 45 footer? Wow......The ONLY thing you guys didnt is the internet/wifi situation & your TV situation.....other than that, NICE BUS!!! God bless. safe travels...
We have a winegard on top that helps with any wifi that’s close but still too far. You can put SIM cards from any carrier in it as well! The tv… we have a good dvd collection and try to be outside as best we can! Thanks for your question!
Excellent and well-thought out build. I'm curious as to how you linked the 3 propane tanks together as the standard RV regulator only allows for two tanks. The long hallway concept is innovative and removes that tunnel feel seen so often on bus conversions.
I love your bus! I do have one question. How do you like the front load washer? Does it clean the clothing as well as traditional washers with agitators?
Yes ma’am it does the job well! I usually like top loaders but we wanted to use the space above and it works great! I just keep the door open after washing for a bit so it all dries out inside 😊

Why are your other children not traveling with you. And who do they stay with. Your home is beautiful . I admire this younger generation doing a new life plan. I'm 70 so in my time it was marriage , kids, and mother was responsible to make the home while dad works. And I'm not complaining. It's all been good. If I was younger way younger . LOL I could see myself living in this kinda of life. Safe travel....God bless you
Disappointed in the camera angles. When she was opening doors & drawers it would have been nice to see inside to see what she was trying to describe. The camera person passed over too much & concentrated on the person instead of the build. Disappointing tour.
Hard to see but they are seperate spaces. The batteries vent out the side and floor. The separator runs to the side vent so any propane vapors vent out side and can’t settle downwards. Great observation! Took me a weeks design to figure out how to get it all in there! Thanks!
That is literally the nicest and most functioning bus build I have ever seen. I am highly impressed!
Beautifully sleek and practical. Converting the under storage compartment to a playroom is genius. Continued happy travels.
I agree this is a beautiful build and it looks like an apt inside. Nice decor and your daughter is beautiful and many blessings.👏🏻🏡🏡👏🏻🙏🙏.
I love their coach/home.. but it seems so low to the ground. Is there some springs or whatever that raises the bus when they travel?
@@enzyme35 I noticed that, too, so I checked it out. The specs indicate that they offer 'Full Coach Raise & Lowering' to facilitate ADA ramp entry. The family probably brings it down when they're in 'living' mode.
Correct, when the bus is running and airs up the suspension comes up about 6 inches for ride height.
@@chrisstrube5909 I'm not in the least mechanical, but I knew what to look for because my husband used to drive a Citroën DS with hydropneumatic suspension. I always found it eerie to see it rise and lower; I called it 'The Shark'.

Not required in a motorhome in the US but still want the kids to have their places with belts!
Thanks

Without a doubt the best layout I've seen so far.
I love this bus! I could so live there. The perfect size.
Well done 👍🏻. This is one of my favorite videos. A inspiration for anyone who wants to build a coach home.
This is a great build. Having the under storage is awesome.
Your bus is so nice and I love the way you have fixed it up.

Nicely Done 😊.

Amazing planning and design!
Beautiful build. Like it. Sadly though no mention of your beautiful pups. They are a part of your family. Good job
So sorry! It was a hectic morning! We were actually supposed to film with someone else and Brad came through when the husband forgot his plan with us 😂
We have two Aussie pups (who are much larger now) and a 5 year old Jack Russell.
Thanks!
Store things in your pillows saves cupboard space 🎉🎉

I didn't see any TV, which would be the best choice ;-)

Very knowledgeable and did a fantastic job!!!!!! 😊🐬🦋🌺👍learnt a lot. Thank you.
That hallway looks wheelchair accessible 😍
I believe it would be! ❤️
A airline style chair would fit. Doorway into bedroom is narrowest spot.
Thanks!
This couple actually is not ready yet to leave their home 😂😂😂😂
We have lived in a school bus and this coach closing in on two years.
Thanks!
Beautiful job!!❤️
Beautiful , "tiny" house May God continue blessing .
enjoyed the tour

Nice space! 🌀💚🌀
What a beautiful home! It has everything you need!!
I'd love to find out if I'd like living like that. I've been thinking about it.

Great job!
Super olmus saglikli gunlerde yollar dilerim
Thank you so much!
Love this setup 😍 👌
I love your bus! I do have one question. How do you like the front load washer? Does it clean the clothing as well as traditional washers with agitators?
As a German that lives in a country full of front load washers: they do their job really well.
Yes ma’am it does the job well! I usually like top loaders but we wanted to use the space above and it works great! I just keep the door open after washing for a bit so it all dries out inside 😊
Lovely home. Don't all the loose things fall when you travel or do you only travel occasionally?
Amazingly they stay out except some taller bottles that tip over! We call this bus the magic carpet ride LOL
It is a very smooth riding bus so we have to latch the refrigerator doors but other then that it all stays put!
I love it great job 👍
With your water jugs that are 5 gallons if your in a states that has Publix you can actually refill the five gallon than buy new ones
Amazing

Is it necessary to have a special driving license in the US to drive such a big vehicle?
Nope! Just gotta know how to handle her 😆
Depends on the state in which your licensed. We are licensed in a state that requires no additional license.
Thanks!

I don’t know keeping gas and batteries together feels very unsafe
