  • 3 REASONS NOT TO IGNORE YOUR ROOT CANAL INFECTION
Postponing dental work could be detrimental to your health and put you at risk for further complications-and cost you more time and money in the long run. Here are just a few of the reasons why you should seek prompt treatment for your root canal infection:
    • Disregarding your discomfort now can cause more painful problems later.
    • Seeking prompt treatment increases the chance to save your tooth.
    • The longer you put off dental treatment, the more involved it becomes.
    THE GENTLEWAVE® PROCEDURE
The GentleWave® Procedure is a minimally invasive4 alternative to standard root canal treatment. The GentleWave Procedure cleans the deepest, most complex portions of the root canal system.4,5 Relying on fewer files than standard RCT5, the GentleWave alternative uses fluid dynamics and broad spectrum acoustic energy5 to reach into the microscopic spaces4,5 that standard root canal treatment often cannot6. If you’re interested in a root canal alternative that can help you save your natural tooth, visit www.gentlewave.com.

    TRANSCRIPT
Root canal infections can be a pain. Reason 1: Disregarding your discomfort now can cause more painful problems later. If an abscess forms, the infection could spread to the surrounding tissue and bone1 and possibly elsewhere in your body. Reason 2: Seeking prompt treatment increases the chance to save your tooth2-and nothing beats your natural teeth! Reason 3: The longer you put off dental treatment, the more involved it becomes.3 Replacing an extracted tooth with a bridge or implant requires more time in treatment and may result in further procedures to neighboring teeth and supporting tissue.2 Face your root canal infection without fear with the GentleWave® Procedure, the minimally invasive4 fast healing5 alternative to standard root canal treatment that helps to minimize your number of treatment sessions5 and the downtime needed for recovery. Experience the GentleWave Difference-find a GentleWave provider near you.

Best decision you could’ve made!! I’m doing the same in a couple weeks! I can’t believe I never knew the dangers and long term repercussions from getting them done! My health has consistently gone downhill since getting them 15-20 years ago. Then I got Covid in April 2021 and my immune system tanked. Here we are Nov 2023 and I’m still suffering. Over 2 years of absolute suffering and I’m just figuring out this could indeed be the root cause, (pun intended)! Most days I can barely get outta bed. The fatigue is so crippling, along with the breathing and lung issues. Severe constant congestion, chronic very productive cough. This has crippled my life, but I’m not giving up! Maybe one day I’ll be able to know what it feels like to be normal again. Pretty shitty no Dr, (and I have seen PLENTY) has EVER asked me about my oral health and if I happened to have any root canals! 😡
Because root canals are a billion dollar business!!
Don’t forget, this world has mostly become profits over people!! 🤬

I tell people, if you ever get a root canal go to a endodontic dentist who uses a microscope.
A microscope will show you if the canals split.
A regular dentist does not use a microscope and if you do a root canal with a regular dentist it wont work if the canals split. An Xray or one of those magnifying glasses dentists use wont show if the canals split. If your canals split and you have a dentist do the root canal with out using a microscope, the Root canal will not be successful.
I can tell you even my dentist admitted, he wouldn't be able to do the root canal correctly if the canal's split. Dentists don't want to tell people this.
I only found out about this, cause this happened to a friend of mine, who got a root canal from a dentist who didn't use a microscope and the root canal failed.
He had to get another root canal from a endodontic dentist who uses a microscope. Then he had to get that same tooth re-crowned. That cost a lot of money. So if you need a root canal, make sure you go to a endodontist.

Thank you for posting...very helpful. I wish i had known this, mine does nto hurt but throbbing. I have seen my dentist and others and they all say it's fine. Dentist should be allowed to do this, there is a reason we have specialists. I don't let me regular doctor do brain surgery, why is my dentist doing something that a specialist should be doing.

@@handymanit166 Joseph i''ve posted about this story on tons of root canal videos on UA-cam.
I bet 99 percent of people don't realize this too. I only know about it, cause it happened to my friend.
After my friend's root canal failed, after he got the root canal and crown from the dentist he used.
The worst part is, he had to get another root canal from a endodontist and he had to get the tooth re-crowned again by a dentist which was 2500 for both the root canal and crown.
I'll tell you another good tip.
The best way to prevent cavities is, if you eat cake or anything with sugar, drink water right afterwards.
Now if you have a chocolate bar like Kit Kat, Milky Way or a 3 Musketeers bar. If you drink water right after eating the chocolate bar, it wont get all the chocolate residue off your teeth. After you drink water, the best thing to do is, use something called a gum stimulator.
A gum stimulator is a stick the size of a toothbrush with a rubber arrow. You just use the rubber arrow to get the chocolate residue off your teeth. I've been doing this for 10 years and haven't gotten a cavity since. You replace the rubber arrow every 3 months or when it wears down. You can buy the rubber arrows cheap online , I see tons on Ebay. Just do a search on Ebay for Gum Stimulator refills. Here's a video of the Gum Stimulator. It's at 40 seconds of this video. ua-cam.com/video/Uxo5dvkKdJw/v-deo.html

  • @lostbladder

I had a root canal a few years ago and now it's infected. I get a little pus filled bump above the tooth in the gums. My dentist said it's not life threatening and my insurance wont cover any other procedure but pulling it.
It doesn't hurt and I am not a rich man. I've just been popping the bump when it gets irritatingly big and washing it out.

    • @midhatshabir4731
      @midhatshabir4731 4 роки тому +5

No you should not do this...It may not be life threatening sooner but it may involve your other teeth...And it can involve your gums too...plz visit a dentist as soon as possible...

    • @lostbladder
      @lostbladder 4 роки тому +11

@@midhatshabir4731, I did. I even paid to go to a good one (as opposed to mine). They said it's not life threatening to leave it alone. I'm not spending thousands out of pocket to get it fixed and I sure as hell am not getting it pulled.
They're the ones that X-ray'd me. They've gone to school all that time to be dentists. I'm sure they could tell me if it's life threatening or could spread to other teeth. It's just a localized thing she said. It wont spread she said. It wont kill me she said.
Even my primary dentist knows about it. He's a pretty shitty dentist, but I'm sure for liability reasons, if he knew it was there, he'd at least tell me it's urgent that I get it resolved if he thought it would kill me or do me harm. He knows it's there and he knows I don't plan on fixing it because my insurance does not cover it. The only reaction I got from telling him this was a shoulder shrug. You'd like to think the man would say "Yeah that could be a problem later" if it were a problem.
Also, my insurance wont cover getting it fixed. You'd like to think if it were such a pressing matter that my insurance would cover the procedure to fix it. They just covered another root canal that I felt was unnecessary. If they'll cover that, why not this if it could be so troublesome?
All of this tells me that it is not a problem. Just an uncomfortable localized infection. I just have to keep it as clean as possible. Hell, even if it gets worse, maybe then my insurance will cover fixing it, who knows. I actually used a dull syringe to irrigate the infection with peroxide followed by irrigating with salt water last time I popped it. It's been a few weeks now and it has not come back. If it does, I'll do that again but more vigorously. Last time I was a bit light. Hell, I might even scrape at the bone there while I irrigate. If they won't fix it and it costs a few grand to have them fix it, fuck it, I'll try to fix it myself. Wouldn't be the first time I successfully did a bootleg medical procedure on myself.

That way, people with low vision can benefit from the video, or anyone who does not want to sit in front of a screen and read. If I wanted to read this material, I would prefer a book.
