I watch 2 or 3 other trucking channels . You are the only one that don't spend half video filming them self and them driving the truck. Thank you for filming the road in front of you.
You're so right about the contradiction between the push for electric vehicles and the issues with energy production. We're all just supposed to ignore that part. Good to see you back at it, Mike.
Stay safe and stay healthy. When one door closes others open. Mountain Man Mike aka The Roadmaster of the Rockies is always worth riding with no matter the venue.
You're our long term trucking channel. So thankful you are producing videos again. Wish you the best at getting your own truck. We do miss you taking Vail Pass as we have a timeshare at Vail. Riding shotgun with you Mike.
The oil companies have been pushing hard to build a new rail line across a lot of this area. If they ever get their wish, the distance you have to drive will greatly decrease and so will the profit margin for the truckers. Enjoy this while you can!
You had me thinking it was over. Kept searching just the same. And here this a.m. we are moving once again. Felt the change very soon into the drive. Glad you are well. Missed you MMM! God bless you
Love riding shotgun with you Mike. So happy to know you're ok and back driving. I wont even get started on electric vehicles, what a joke! Thanks for sharing
Hi Mike! As you rightly say - challenging roads!! Bit different from the highways we were used to with you!! 😁...but I still love riding along. Glad to hear news of yr family too! ... Take care over there x🇬🇧
Mike i got my truck about 3 yrs ago and just paid it off !!250000 a year gross so i clear about 60 % of that ,fuel and maint. etc. I strongly recommend it .
Temperature yesterday was about the same in Iowa, high of 18, this mornjng we are at 4. By Thursday 40. Full moon was Monday night, temp always drops. You arent that far from CRAIG, Love the videos. You havent mentioned Helper, UT. A guy shoots videos of the extra engines they put on the coal trains to get over Soldiers Summit. Interesting.
That is some interesting back country you are working in now. I'm really enjoying riding shotgun with you! Best wishes and I hope everything goes well setting up the new business. Nothing beats being your own boss.
I'm watching you from Carbon County and I know you have to drive here to drop your loads then back to Vernal. Yes flaming gorge is that lake above Vernal.
Interesting job. Not sure if I would enjoy it. Interesting info on fracking and earthquake forecasting on Dutchsince yt channel. Watching from the PHILIPPINES where trucking is a whole lot different.
Hi Mike, yep you are just another number, I long ago lost any dedication to any company, am retired now, but yep take care of Mike 1st, and good luck and best of wishes in getting your own truck...................see ya
You could always come to Greeley and haul water for Naill, they pay by the hour, starting at $29 an hr. Lots of work,, if this gig doesn’t work out for ya
wow you did what i woulda done.i caint believe that they let you go/your a no noob trucker a veteran.i remember your old videos you know the snow the ice i wish you the best of luck.i hauled hot linseed oil back in the late 80s with no baffles and gas.im rooting for ya!i left the dry van part back then cause trucking company made me drive 12 hours then unload my cereal load by myself.after 12 hours of driving thats exhausting back then they had standon forklifts you had to do yourself and warehouse people seemed kinda rude if you asked a question even back then.you could do lumper but it came outa of our own pockets past 40 dollars
i havent seen any videos for so long i think it was snowing then when i last saw....i finally checked directly and saw a few videos that i never got notifications for..glad to see you back and now have to catch up lol
Keep an eye on your former employer . When a company start getting rid of their best drivers then reducing pay. They are having problems. Probably looking for someone to buy them out.
I felt like I was listing to myself talk 😆 I think diesel electric or gas electric is the way to go to start and build up the electric grid then go electric
My son went to Lewiston ID. To visit his clients ,jet boats , they went out in one now he knows the hype ! He has a small metal outboard ( brand new) but my guess is the Big Boy toy is on his agenda for white water areas to go play
Consider looking up these locations on Google Earth instead of Google Maps. Maps will only show it in 2d and like you said there's no street view. Earth will render it in 3d and you can get a general idea of how steep the hills are.
klingon mud. You know that the roads are crap when there are signs that say "may become impassable when wet". Life in the oilfields.....Never hauled oil, but worked as a pumper, winch truck operator, floats, heavy equipment, or what ever you needed to do to get it done.
Roosevelt Utah is not very far from Skinwalker Ranch. My little bro retired from the military couple years ago delta force, how in the world he ended up in that special forces unit I’ll never know cause he was such an idiot as a kid.
I'm here to discuss the property with ocean views in Arizona. How much you want for that? I'm in California, I'm also a professional college student with 12 PHDs so you know I'm loaded with a perfect social credit score.🤣 if you say P-H-D stands for Piled Higher and Deeper then the deal is off.😠 Girl Power!!!
Man in UK says there are not enough raw materials to MAKE electric cars to replace the ones we use now - and that is for only the Englanders. So, we better get on it for oil, and nuclear, and whatever the hell keeps on working and delivering the JUICE.
This is none of my business but you are about to make the mistake of a lifetime. I have been an owner-operator/ small fleet owner since the early 70s( now retired) In this day and age this is not a good time to buy a truck, if you think you will make more money you will and it will all go to the truck. First even with a new truck you will have breakdowns and that will cost you t downtime, but the payment will not stop. Oil changes, when you get out of the truck your time will not be yours because you will have to do general maintenance on the truck. Like cleaning, ect. tires they will be an added expense, especially on those roads. In my proffesional opinion fine a good owner or company that won't have you working for the truck. You have been a good company driver and at the end of your load your home time is yours. That will all change. Trust me it is not all it's cracked up to be. I wish you well. lastly, why do you think your boss told you that truck has to keep moving?
I watch 2 or 3 other trucking channels . You are the only one that don't spend half video filming them self and them driving the truck. Thank you for filming the road in front of you.
Mike, thanks for the shout out for my channel! I too am extremely proud of Jake.
Great news about your son...thank him for his service..🇺🇸
Awesome Ride thanks Mike

Time with the grandkids, priceless!😅
Agree with you 100% when you work for a company they never take loyalty or hard work into account , they only care about Profits and thats that sadly.

You drive better in snow with a semi than most people drive in cars on dry pavement😢🎉
Why does everybody insist on giving the temperature in Celsius too??
WE DONT CARE!!!!!
You are definitely on a whole new adventure.
Glad you're back out on the road. Stay safe out there! -Brandon

You haven’t seen slick roads till you’ve driven the Kenai Peninsula in the winter.
Good video, good job brother, I'm in New Mexico, in the oil field a lot, can relate to what you do, in the propane side of the job, safe travels
I had a boss that told me truck driver's we're a dime a dozen, I flip him a quarter and told him to go and get him a dozen.. I quit
Mike nice to be with you are driving again. Just wondered where is Mike the chicken.
Funny, i changed my speedometer to km and use C° in preparation for my trip across canada.

Do you ever see campers out there?
You need a Mack Truck for the oil field ..STAY SAFE..Trucker..
Dammit, third time this week I"ve tried to kill a bug on the screen... 😝🤣

I follow his highway trips on Google Earth. You are right, you can still get a good idea of the terrain even if you can't get down to street view.
Thanks Mike. Noice! :-)
15:35 - THAT doesn't look intimidating AT ALL!!! 😳A uphill hairpin on a cliff in the dark. WOW!
16:40 Follow the adventure! Oil well at 40.271741° -109.601181°
26:20 The end of pavement (or start) 40.300751° -109.613002° and the steep grade.
Hard decision, drvr/condirions/load... he's going slow... graded, presumed salted/sanded... 10° slope, I'd have been a nervous wreck. 😵💫👍🥰
Mike, have you ever seen anything " strange" while driving? Anything that frightened you?
klingon mud. You know that the roads are crap when there are signs that say "may become impassable when wet". Life in the oilfields.....Never hauled oil, but worked as a pumper, winch truck operator, floats, heavy equipment, or what ever you needed to do to get it done.
that was smart letting those kids shop at that store, lol

If it's like getting in the Navy Seals it's not easy I was a seal over 10 years iwas a sniper in the Seals
I was wondering if you get your own truck do you have to look at the undercarriage to be able to take the roads in the mountains
Welcome to the tank world....

Does that truck have auxiliary lighting? If not it’s got great light optics
Be careful be safe Mike
Mike, age can be a factor to consider. When you go to bank they will question you. Even though they arent suppose too.
no 4 wheelers out there. stay safe
Mike is a pro this is obvious 😊

Where's Jason ( from Friday the 13th) spooky looking road.
🍭SWEET🍭Interesting🤔Stay Safe🙏🏼💖👍🏻🌞
Chains are mounted on a truck for a reason. Use them at your discretion.
Yes Peace out
As your title says, if you have to ask, then put the dam chains on 😂😂😂
Fahrenheit to Celsius conversion is not linear!
Are you sure you are not driving on Mars?
👍🏻👍🏻
Hi mike hi buster 🚚
New plastic automobiles are light and can flip upsidedown.
