Take some time out beside a pure mountain stream as it flows through the depths of the forest. Clear waters gurgle over smooth pebbles, past moss-covered rocks, to tumble over small cascades.
As you sit quietly beside a sparkling waterfall and breathe in the crisp air, frogs call softly nearby, sunshine filters through the trees, and birdsong echoes through the forest.

So this is how heaven sounds..
I like listening to this when I come home from work... and school. I am in high school, and I live by myself; I pay for everything, so it's really cool when you don't have the time but the money to just listen to sounds like this and lock yourself in your room.
Man i'm from australia too, where is this place? I've got all Bushland near me, i wish i had Rainforest too!!!
Yeah I never thought about that...I stay up until like 7am...and the birds chirping at 5am are annoying, lol
This is just what I need for when I am studying or writing. I can't concentrate when there is music on because I wan't to listen to the music, but nature sounds just blend into the background and block out distracting things around me. Great stuff!
No way - my favourite movie is avatar and before i saw it i new about the problems of the earth but now i started to care and u know like when all people say " ooh its ok everything is fine the government will take care,,, they will save earth" but it is not THEY ,, it is US
That was so nice. But alas, I work seven days a week in a factory with loud roaring and screeching noises, and today is no exception. Off to work I go on this lovely Saturday morning, dreaming of a life of leisure and natural rhythms and sounds.
that is so true, and so sad... that is why I loved the movie Avatar, it really changed my outlook on the world. Like ive always known we live on a dying planet, but it never really occured to me until you hear this beauty or go out into nature yourself
omg! this is Great! the best nature sounds I have heard and I have been all across youtube and haven't found one so soothing and beautiful!
I live on the reservation and i don't hear ugly car noises or any of that. Instead, i just hear the gentle breeze blowing through the air, the bushes rustling quietly, and (haha) the sheep in the distance :]
@amyhitsfaces Right, because my captive bred parakeet could survive real well in the wild right? Also, correct me if i'm wrong but I don't think I have any rainforest lying around in ENGLAND.

It took me several tries to find a video like this with JUST nature sounds as I specified in the search, and not shitty music with some rain drops in the background.
I'm only listening to this to try and calm myself down and sleep cause its 2 in the morning and its Christmas tomorrow.. :\

oh this keeps me from having a nervous breakdown.. so calming, its not loud like the other types, and the birds dont hurt my sensitive hearing.. perfect...
@TomKaulitzIsLovexo yeah that happens to me, I moved recently to a place that doesnt rain as much as I would like it to, you always need to pee first...

animals in the forests and jungles must be so blissed out all the time. i'm jealous.
I love the sound of waterfalls and rushing water. Add in the sounds of birds and insects and I am easily transported to a relaxed state.
Damn, you get -12 for that. People are touchy bout their birds huh? ^_^
Anyways...I for one love the sounds.

I hear these exact birds all the time here in nsw especially in the morning around 6:AM
