In this clip, Tony Yayo reacted to Prodigy of Mobb Deep passing away, which led to Tony speaking about various people in hip-hop passing away, including DJ Kay Slay, who was friends with both Vlad and Tony. During the conversation, Vlad also explained to Tony about regretting not pushing Kay Slay to get the COVID vaccine, which led to Tony speaking about his reason for getting the vaccine and wishing Kay Slay did the same. Tony also spoke about the power of Kay Slay, who was able to get rappers on a song together, even if they had beef. From there, Tony pointed out that Kay Slay was one of the first big figure to put on Pop Smoke, and Tony reacted to Prodigy’s past interview with VladTV. Tony confirmed the story about the “bad cops” trying to plant a gun on 50 Cent after pulling over Prodigy, which you can hear more about above.

And yeah bro the egg thing was really strange to me. I think there’s a lot of things though people may overlook in situations like this. Maybe being that it was hospital food, he would just eat it. I don’t think he was a real strict vegan like that.
Also, with his sickle cell, it’s possible that he didn’t receive adequate treatment and while he was eating, he may have become drowsy from (let’s say) morphine, and choked on his food.
I think there’s a lot of other factors that play in to it so it’s difficult to go off a headline.

Prodigy is definitely missed. One of my favorite rappers and most influential for my own music. He floated on that 2nd and 3rd album, that boy went God tier mode and at NINETEEN. He was definitely a rapper I wanted to meet and become cool with. You can tell he was real. He doesn’t get the respect he deserves. The same way Havoc doesn’t for his production. The dynamic duo. I actually bought the Hell On Earth CD just as memorabilia. I never even opened it.
