Fantastic video Phil. Pure nostalga as far as i,m concerned. Great to see all the equipment (which we thought was the latest at the time) so well preserved by the owners & opperators. Many thanks Phil.

Impressive selection of kit there
1982 John Deere 2140 power synchro (same sg2 cab) was first Deere I drove as a teenager, after having driven 590 multipower and 690 (3 stick) Masseys with gearlevers on the floor, the Jd was like a Rolls Royce.
That maize looked good obviously not droughts out like southern England
Cracking video well done Phil

Fair play for the content Phil . Definitely up there in your top ten. The drone footage was epic and the sound track perfect 👍👍👏👏
That Ford 8340 looked great and the 3085 is a smashing example! I'd love both of them.
re bonjour merci pour cette belle vidéo😍👍👍

You won't beat the 50s John Deere Phil
Lots of help to cover the pit.
Great video Phil as usual thanks for posting. I always liked those sg2 cabs myself was offered a good deal on a brand new one in 1988 with castor axle £12000 off list
Great video 👌👌 you can't bate the Cork 👏👏
That 3085 was mint!
You must be getting the top hat and tail out in November 😜
Fantastic . What a day that must of been. But I bet you wish you had a fly swat at some points of the vid😉🤣. 2850 JD must be one of the ultimate 4 cylinder driver tractors of all time? I loved how nimble they were, curvy bonnet, cab and brilliant view out the back window and of course the turbo whistle 😊. Cracking work on this one it looked a brilliant day. Stay safe 🏴
Ye had a good time down here its not this warm al the time
In wexford were done alll off the corn now
It's a great day out. I was at in near me in South tipperary 2015. You want a full day to see all michenery working. I had to go home to milk. Brother was gone away for weekend
Gerry6420 will be a happy man tonight
I’m a happy man every night 😂
Takes the heat for the maize. My in laws emigrated to Canada 20 years ago and grow their own. It can be 12-14ft high some years if it gets the right weather but then the wind can destroy it. It’s unreal how the heat fires it on. Their temps range 26-32 in summer.
thats another deere fan on the cards, just the cavan man to go 😂
Well
I am a Massey man but we only own a John Deere 3040 so for now I have to drive her
How is the drive down to Clonakilty? Is it a lot of bad roads or handy enough. Thanks.I would like to go to one of these silage open days. John Deere semi circular cabs are mint
Would ye look into buying a wagon
Got two 990 and one 995 David browns work em every day
Ya weren't at the tullamore show at all
I went from Deere to a Massey. I’ll never look back…
Was Jerry there🤔👍
That 2850 was class. I don't think father Phil would let u buy one tho!
You need a chrome piped 4440
Hi
Good crack there
Hi farmer Phil its Callum from today when you were slurry you said you did other videos where you were today what's the name of them
A différent landscape compared to the west of ireland, différent climate and land type. Confirmed by the maize but not all years are the same
Great video phil. Took me back to my youth farming days in the 80s where my newest tractor was a 698T 4wd and 525 super II combine over here in Rotherham. Pity you did not edit out the rood child swearing at the camera?
🇨🇮👍😀
🚜🚜🚜🚜😎😎😎👍
Would you buy a 50 series john deere
The john deere would be alright till you tipp a trailer, you'd have to stop halfway through to let the hydraulics catch up
