gardel....tú no estás bien.

I have hair like young Ivo Pogorelich. I saved it all in a shoebox. Seriously though, I have never heard any of Scarlatti's sonatas played with more sensitivity and grace. IMO Horowitz's interpretations almost pale by comparison. The late, great harpsichordist and baroque authority Scott Ross was quite critical of how Horowitz played Scarlatti. (The interview is part of a film about Ross that is available on UA-cam.)

IVO POGORELICH WITHOUT A DOUBT, NO COMPARISON!!!!
*the* 2 fav pianists
Grandissimo artista
Thank you for posting this. I listen regularly. Great stuff!
Breathtakingly beautiful! ❤
Perfection expressing the noble task of being human : Bach - Pogorelich
Bless you! THAT was beautiful! Thank you for sharing!🙂
Not even Beethoven could play Beethoven that well. What a generous soul. !! And he walks among us. Oh...... God protect him with wise angels and many that love him. CVD
You had a great chance in your long life to hear Beethoven playing his own Sonatas ....
Fritz Maisenbacher Fantastic coment yours, love to you, so much
His playing is very extreme, you either like it or don't like it. That's why during the competition, Martha Argerich had arguement with the judges and left.
Najbolje.
Great artist!
One of my favourite composers, and these performances are wonderful interpretations!
Thank you!🤗❤
gardel....tú no estás bien.
Its almost like a different person from the pianist he is in Scriabin orRavel. The lushness, the lines of his Chopin require a different dound from him. Pogo is the most perfect in his Bach and Scarlatti i think any of us will ever hear!
holy shit this is so good
Beautiful man with wonderful soul!
Je ne me lasse pas d'Ivo !
Awesome! Heavenly music played for the Gods.
Tremenda ..maravilla d inventiva i respeto al Compositor i su Tiempo..graxieee...
Can see why Martha Argerich championed him!
Ivo Pogolerich inspire me! His tone is beautiful and also gent and strong. Pogolerich has a culture also, he is from Mediterranean Country, which is the "center" of the earth, that bring mix culture around the world!
very nice , I was listening to Horowitz and left the room for a while and when I came back the screen saver had turned on but the music was still playing as that is how my settings are set. The thing is , I still thought I was listening to Horowitz for a while.
Prodigio.
Perfection!
Great!
Arnold Schwarzenegger looked at his two pals and said, "You be Mozart, you be Beethoven, and I'll be Bach."
DaveYostCom wrote these timestamps. I'm just copying and pasting them because I don't want to scroll down every time I want to look for the timestamps.

Nice performance !!!!! .
One of my top 3 choices for English Suite No 2.
