Here is a complete homeschool phonics curriculum to help teach your child how to read and write. It is a 70 lesson course free here on youtube.
Together, we will learn the Alphabet sounds for letter A, letter B, and letter C. I will teach you the sounds for the letter A, how to draw a capital letter A and a lower case A. I will teach you how to say the words Apple, Alligator and Ant with an American English pronunciation. I will show you pictures to remember the words while we practice saying the alphabet sounds. I will teach you the sounds for the letter B, how to draw a capital letter B and a lower case B. I will teach you how to say the words Book, Bed, and Bat with an American English pronunciation. I will teach you the sounds for the letter C, how to draw a capital letter C and a lower case C. I will teach you how to say the words Cat, Cup, and Cap with an American English pronunciation.
You will learn these 3 ABC sounds in under 10 minutes. Welcome to your lesson 1 in level 1 of American English phonics for adults.

Hi sir i feel like crying when i watch your first level lesson....which i was looking for many years...im actualy was looking for a free online class learning to read for beginner adults which is for my mum and i came accross your webpage....which make me so speechless....my mum never go to school before but she can speak very well english and 3 other language but she find it so fifficult that she always have to depend on someone in terms of fill up forms or to read and she always very eager to learn...she tried asking many teacher but they have rejected and also laugh at her just because she is in her 60s....sir the word thank you is not just enough to express how i feel now...thank you sir...my mum now is following all your lesson...
I am so happy that you found my lessons. UA-cam likes to hide them it seems. I have taught students older than 60 so it is definitely possible for your mom to do well in this course. Ignore the other teachers as they weren't real teachers. No one would turn away a student. Here is the complete course of phonics organized into a playlist for her. I recommend that if your mom has any pronunciation issues, you give her a set of earbuds. Have her wear one earbud only. This way she can hear me and hear herself copy what I say. It will help her mimic the sounds faster. I also recommend that you give her a small makeup mirror so that she can check her mouth and tongue placement during the lessons. She will do great and I am happy that I can help her finally feel comfortable in English.

These videos look great! I work at a nonprofit organization that offers free ESOL classes, but the vast majority of the adults we serve know how to read and write in their first language. Recently, someone joined us from a very rural part of the world who we've been struggling to support because he is such a true beginner in English AND has very little ability to write letters. We don't have the capacity to offer one-on-one tutoring, so having something like videos for him to watch while we're looking for another option for him is so helpful. If anyone else has a suggestion, please let me know!

Oi. Estou muito feliz que tenha encontrado minha escola. Para repetir a lição todos os dias, aqui está o que eu recomendo.
Assista às três primeiras lições. Então revise. Se você ainda está fazendo o mesmo som correto, passe para as próximas 3 lições. Pode haver sons de uma ou duas letras que são difíceis, então eu preferiria que você só revisasse isso. Rever os sons fáceis que você entende fará com que as lições pareçam chatas e diminuam seu progresso. Só revisar mais tarde os sons que eram difíceis. Uma vez que você tenha dominado todos os sons de nível 1, você pode passar para os sons de nível 2. Para ajudá-lo a estudar mais facilmente, aqui está a playlist de todo o curso.

I wish if you include articulation in your lesson. You have tried very best in your lesson but still I am missing something , probably due to wrong articulation position. Please , include the correct position pf lips/teeths etc. Great videos ...
