Now I understand why I haven’t learned English properly, no one ever worked with me explaining this sounds before. I have been feeling ashamed all my life for not being able to speak properly. The teachers just presume I knew all this time!
Just forgot to add this one! My separate humongous gratitude for the free PDF! I always download all the PDFs, they're needful for the best mastering everything I've learnt in the lesson! Go through them carefully every day! The God has been blessing you, cute Emma!
Your style of teaching is extremely beautiful. I can sit in your class attentively and listen to you teaching for hours with out feeling tired.Thank you very much.
Emma, you are an amazing teacher. Your video is so important, so clearly explained, so different from the others. You give learners solid tools to improve and deepen their English knowledge.
The International Phonetic Alphabet is something I've always wanted to learn but never found the perfect time to start. Thank you for reminding me about it, for another great lesson and the workbook, of course! Thank you so much! 🙂
Fantastic - I'm so glad you saw this video. As you can tell, I'm a big fan of the IPA 😃 but I'm especially excited to share the practice at the end of the lesson. It's the best way to remember the IPA symbols & sounds!
Awesome English lesson, that is why you are the Best English teacher in Australia and one of the Best English teacher in the World. Well done Emma keep doing it. Thank you so much. Have a great Day. ❤👍
Hi Emma, Unique and informative lesson about how to pronounce words perfectly. It is useful to all learners. Appreciate your efforts 👏👏. Thanks and regards,
Thanks Emma for breaking it down for us. I'm aiming to practice everyday for a few weeks by following this video. I'll update you if I notice any improvement in my pronunciation 12:26
*Hey there, my beloved Coach Emma! So fancy meeting you again! My respects!😇* *As for the today's lesson, I don't consider this only for beginner learners. I totally suppose, it's gonna be useful for* *each level of knowing English, for all the levels, no matter, right?! As far as I can the things, even advanced C1-C2* *students are inclined to make pronunciation mistakes and silly bloopers sometimes.😕* *Thanks once again, dear Emma! Keep it up! Stay in safe! Always love 'n' appreciate you!💖💖💖*
Absolutely! In fact, whenever I share the IPA with native speakers they are often shocked about how challenging English pronunciation is (and have a new-found respect for anyone learning it!)
@@mmmEnglish_Emma I also support your point of view, Emma! I thank you for the answers and feedback that you give me all the time! That's so crucial for me though!!!👍👍👍
I like to practice and improve my English pronunciation whenever I can even though the language has some misleading words that can be difficult to catch and produce even in a given context, you know what I mean, don't you? I love learning English and I'm still picking out many useful words and phrases from different sources, articles or websites on the internet to enhance my overall knowledge of the language further. Thanks a bunch Emma for being a fantastic English teacher. ❤🤗
Great lesson indeed! I think IPA is crucial for mastering the right pronunciation from the very start because once learnt the wrong one it's hard to unroot it. Thanks as always for your love an dedication you put in everything you do. I can't wait to see another lesson like this. ❤
For non-English speakers like me, hard to figure out the difference between similar sounds /e/ and /æ/, etc. Thank you Emma for sharing the Australian pronounciation and pdf file.
I loved it soo much, so freaking cool, most of the times on good dictionaries they use IPA and we never pay attention to that, but if we go through this lesson at least 5 times per day for a month, it will stick in our brain. I am not good at memorising, but it would be very useful to have the next video with more words to guess, to be clear just the last part of this video but with many new uncommon words. ❤You’re always a step forward. Thank you very much
I'm so glad you watched all the way through - because the last part is definitely the FUN part, where you really get to study and *remember* the symbols! I'd love to make a video just as you described, but I wasn't sure if everyone would love it as much as me!! (But it looks like at least SOMEONE else does!!! 🎉 Thanks for sharing - let's see if anyone else wants a lesson like that!)
Absolutely brilliant! If you want to learn the piano, you start with the music theory and when you want to learn English words, you have to learn IPA 🙆♂️ Emma you're clever and awesome ❤❤ 🙏
Oh good! I'm glad you enjoyed it! I tried to sneak a few tricky ones in the practice section to really test your skills - you must have done very well if 'brochure' and 'urgent' were the only problematic ones!
