Sir share ko lang experience ko sa pagaalok sa mga samgy restos, hindi sila kumukuha sa price na 200/kg. Alangan sila kasi usually ang kuha lang nila sa mga lettuce from baguio is ranging from 80-100/kg lang. Meron pa nga 60/kg lang. Parehas kami ni sir marvin na 200/kg ang intro price, until now wala pang kumuha sa lahat ng pinagbigyan ko ng samples. Hindi naman nila ma appreciate the way we grow our lettuce, na malinis at pesticide free. The way I think about it is mas kukuha sila sa mura, bulk order, because hindi naman sila after sa high quality na lettuce, standard quality will suffice kasi unlimited naman ang bigay nila sa mga customers, not per order basis. So business-wise, it makes sense kasi “free” lang naman nila binibigay ang mga lettuce sa customers pag dine-in sa mga samgy restos. So challenge talaga. Mas malakas pa rin talaga ang end user(household consumption) buyer in our experience. Hopefully, things will change for the better para sa mga hydroponic growers like us. Laban lang. Sir Marvin try to market in a big restaurant in a hotel dahil pang international ang mga lettuce mo… they are very expensive here in Australia almost they have them in every resto for salad & even in coffee shops for burgers & sandwich… your hydroponics farm is1st class set up 👍
Mag allow ka po ng section ng vege picking section like sa Tagaytay marami pupunta po dyan. Sa Maryland farmers would farm section for public vegetable picking then cashiers at the door...allow only few people each time. These public will pass the word...and everyday may sale ka. Here in Maryland each public farm is connected to county and the county gives the farmer subsidy when they open it to public for family bonding
