ok i have my imessages turned on but I am wanting to download all messages in a thread. I was advised I can do this by logging into my icloud on a pc or mac. I am trying to access these on my chromebook but there is no option in the cloud to view messages. All I see is my storage, I se14k text messages but I cannot access any of them nor download any of them. Where I am going wrong & what can I do to access capabilities to download an entire text thread. FYI I am using an iphone 11xr or 11x
What is The amount of GB shown next to the “manage storage” button supposed to mean? Why is it a bigger size than the messages size stored on my actual phone? (iMessage iCloud sync is disabled for me) but still takes up a large amount of storage on my iCloud
So I tried this on my phone and it wouldn’t work but I turned my MacBook on with my phone on at the same time and the sync button turned blue and allowed me to download them without having to do any extra steps

It’s fine instructions maybe for your generation who’s all been born in the last 20 years with a smart-device attached to their hip; maybe you're even too slow for them LOL but a cross-section of the world will see your video and not everyone is at your level.

Does this give you access to see imessages that someone you blocked sent you while they were blocked?
