actually you could make all the gates without any actual contraption present, just the 2 buttons but for some gates like xor or xnor it will require logic for it to funcion properly without any contraption

and - if all the inputs are visible, the output becomes visible or - at least one input to be visible in order to make the output visible xor - only one input has to be visible to make this output visible, if its more than 2 it probably will be invisible. not - if input is visible, the output will be invisible n vice versa nand - if all the inputs are invisible, output becomes visible nor - at least one input thats invisible makes this output visible was i correct
