Congratulations for completing the Audax400! Initially I wanted to join, but discovered it only 2 weeks before the event. I didn't think I was ready and equipped since I begun road biking only April this year. Training for the BRM600 this October. Thanks for sharing your experiences. Rest and recuperate well!
Hmm… I would personally advice you to start with 200km, 300km, 400km then 600km… straight jump to 600km is a bad idea unless you are regular on long distance cycling. Cycling long is not easy especially encounter with extreme weather & your body physically have to be ready in many way by sitting in same position in many hours, fatigue, cramps and not to forget bike need to full service before hitting to long distance because some place totally out of civilization. Don’t only look on cycling but physical and mental have to be ready. Time given is limited because everything is self support. It takes months of training. Anyway, thanks again for supporting my channel 🤗
@@AllenBoey Thanks Allen. well noted. I appreciate your advise and caution. I'm not sure if clocking 2,645km since April helps. I've cycled solo from KL - Ipoh (8h 15m). I have been increasing the daily km+intensity in recent weeks. Previously I ran ultramarathon 100km. Frankly, I'm not worried of DNF for the Audax, my goal is to enjoy the journey, make some friends, buddy cycle and perhaps catch some ghost sighting during the night session.
@csoffline7820 well… is always try and error. DNF or over COT, does matter. From there, you will learn the mistake & can postmortem to improve. Gain experience as my advice… Ghost? Haha… you should be happy and ask for Toto or numbers 😂… anyway, just enjoy and train your mental to be strong 💪
Thanks bro… how to meet when you cycle way too fast. Be like me. Eat enough. Rest enjoy. Enjoy all the way. Everytime I see you in the video, your face expression always bonking 😅
an awesome effort..kudos
Thank you so much bro ☺️🙏
