This song feels like it tells a story. The soft melodic part before the dubstep first kicks in feels like when in a game an ally dies. Then the dubstep kicks in and that’s your badass main character absolutely wrecking the group of enemies. The second quieter part and buildup is your main character walking up the stairs to face the final boss. The music builds up to its climax, and the beat drops again as you open the door and start kicking the final boss’s ass. There’s a short moment of respite before the death step grinding gets heavy, possibly when the boss gets in some of his own attacks, but once that final grinding bit hits the fight is yours. The final piano is your main character standing over the enemy, victorious... but at what cost?
Frequensphere and Apashe are some of the only artists who make electronic music with soul. Endless respect for these guys. I don't think there's a better word to sum up Frequensphere's music than simply Ethereal.
Him and evilwave are close friends, frequensphere has been doing all of his recent artwork as well. the sound resembles evilwave greatly and they do have many upcoming collaborations, these two will shine a light so bright yet so dark there will be nothing that can stop them.
It's needed for this artist to be as important as Virtual Riot, Marauda, Excision, PhaseOne... World needed something touching, beautyful and POWERFULL
