this is 'mainstream' deathstep. in a lot of ppl's eyes (including mine) this is just regular dubstep. 'underground' deathstep is way, way heavier and actually packs a punch. (btw im not saying dubstep is bad, i kinda like this track).
anyway, my point is, that if u want to listen to actual deathstep, try white eyes (wich is minatory), or artists like kram and venom.

This is probably the heaviest deathstep track that doesn't rely on a lot of distortion. It's heavy and gritty bass packs a shit ton of wallop to my ears. Other deathstep tracks especially Minatory don't have that heavy bass, but instead emphasizes on that white noise-ish distortion to give an impression of hard music, like hardcore and hard trap. I prefer this style of deathstep since it still feels epic and brutal whilst keeping that dubstep feel.

@@buddiskilli5592 The track literally screams distortions. I heard it. It's sick, but it doesn't have that bass aggression and heaviness. I listen to Dyroth, and both of them have similar style. It's akin to minatory, where distortions such as white noise takes priority of the track than the basses. This track is bass-heavy, in which my argument stands.
@@brixxconnor3411 this is why I like Code Pandorum's stuff(now Inhuman) in the last few years. Theres distortion but doesn't rely on screechy white noise distortion. He rather uses layering to have impact. His songs also have a lot of melody and tonality.

I suggest you start with sum stuff from kroww, and than move on to the heavier producers. Nah nvm just do what you want haha... Btw kretery sectarian is the heaviest track there is. Both of them make absolutely perfect songs, I just feel more connected in a way with Evilwave.
