- So... I may or may not like the Vine Plants in PVZ2 just a liiiiiittle bit. Enough to the point where I felt like I should make a tier list video on how I think they stack up against each other. So, check it out!

Pumpkins actually grow on vines, so by definition he should be on the list. He’s quite fun and useful for endangered plant levels
Too bad its a fucking premium plant instead of adventure plant so by the time you have it, you probably have finished Modern day

@@Darwin-sama Apple is a fruit, so are pumpkins. Pumpkins however, grow vines out of them. This is far more closer to a vine than an apple is to a tree
is it me or pumpkin is underappreciated, eh it's probably the low amount of seed slots

Also worth noting that Shine Vine does have a synergy with Magnifying Glass. Making it shoot light projectile automatically.
Just an FYI, Explode-o-Vine does knockback Zombies that can survive his explosion. Which also means he has synergy with the godly Blover (tho it does require good timing.)
As if Explode wasn't already good enough, now he can remove stuff like Gargs and other non basic zombies that can take an explosion from vine.
Popcap balancing is the balancing of all time.
Just have an FYI for players, the damage multiplier for pea vine works on torchwood's base dmg multiplier when placed on top of it, as well as boosting the damage of the peas shot out from pea vine itself. Thus, in the context for higher level plants, pea vine itself becomes good enough in many scenerios to be self sufficient without needing to bring any other damaging plants,
Also, Explodo-Vine knockbacks zombies, which can be paired with blover, so that further increases it's utility.
Both pea vine and explodo vine will have offers to purchase seed packets for both gems and coins as part of the 12 days of feastivus.
i got both pea and explodo vine thru grinding the rent a plant feature. painful? yes. worth it? oh yea
so if a peashooter shoots a pea through a torchwood with a pea vine in it, it will do 3x damage instead of 2x?
@barneytrouble4447 If you mean a level 1 pea vine (1.5x damage multiplier), then yes, since then that means peas that pass through torchwood will do 1.5 x 2 = 3 times more damage.
For a max level Pea Vine, the damage multiplier is 3x, so stacking that on top of Torchwood means that any peas passing through it will do 6 times more damage.

@@ismaelsolis28 it’s rng on which plants show up. Oh and some point in modern day, your options on renting plants decrease from 3 to 2.
Small correction. When you place shine vine on another sun producer, it still does create its own sun along side buffing the producer within. You can see it yourself

I think that's part of the problem. Fila-Mint is also one of the weaker Power Mints

One thing I really like about Gloom Vine is that in Endless modes, it's actually an effective counter to thrown Garg imps since they'll take damage from up to 9 vines at once when they land, and protect the more important shadowplants underneath
Blastberry vine deals damage to zombies depending on how many bomblets hit them. At level one it could do 30 or 45 damage per shot, though the bomblets only usually hit twice. 15 is just the minimum and it’s actually a little rare for it to be just that.
I didn’t actually know that, that makes the Plant seem a bit better
Wait, no way, explodo vine literally deals the same damage as cherry bomb, with a faster recharge and a second explosion later?

Love your pvz2 content, here’s a challenge idea: how many different plants does it take to beat PVZ2? Not how many plants do you have to plant, but how many different plants in your roster. For example, if you could only beat the entire game with sunflower and peashooter, that’d be 2 plants
That’d be an interesting idea, but it’d take a good while for me to play through that

As a person who loves Pea Vine, I can say it’s *very* OP. Mine is leveled up, though, but still, it got me to level 52 in “Terror from Tomorrow”
Great video please make more tier lists. Do one on all plants that need packets to unlock and rank them.
please dont show the tier list at the start of the video. its blurred but you can very obivously see the results
Idea for a New vine plant for popcat Frost vine it boost winter-mint family plants and freezes zombies in a 3x3 radius when a zomble is in its range like a frost explosion it can hit multiple zombies and keep in mind this is just a idea for a new vine

Blastberry Vine hidden benefits: only Armamint that hits Parasol Zombie
I use Pyre Vine and Gloom Vine as anti-imp thrown. Pyre Vine only used for Frostbite Caves while Gloom Vine for the rest of the levels. The base levels are enough to take down the thrown imps before they chew down the plants. I'm surprised you didn't mention this but Shine Vine also triggers Magnifying Grass at random moments if it is placed on it.
Once you went to a tier, I noticed that the music was: Mettalic madness act 1, but it's act 2
W list, altho I'd personally swap the placements of Pea Vine and Explode-o-Vine, but still, I agree with most of the placements.
2:35 i think that "strange" reason is because its more helpful and tells you what your gonna get.

PvZ2 today confirmed that 11.6.1 will have a New vine. Not confirmed which type
although there are a few vines that havent been added yet
contain, spear, enchant, winter, ail, and enforce mint families
I thought Bramble Bush was a vine due to its design being similar to a vine, that was before I got the plant
lily pad is "technically" the vine for contain mint family. it can be placed on top of another plant (on wet sand only), and vice versa

To be fair, pyre vine is actually really good, while many people don’t agree with me, you can pair it up with a bonk choy or snapdragon to deal some crazy damage, see for yourself.

I'm not a p2w guy, so I can only play the vines when their arena arrives, and I just gotta say pea vine is stupid ass broken.
My favourite vine got bottom of B, that's a W in my department (it's Pyre).

Explod-o-vine is similar as explod-o-nut but you can plant explod-o-vine top of other plants

I wonder if pop cap would add a winter vine
imo pyre vine goes to c, namely because there are multiple plants that do its job better (cough potato cough) . gloom vine at least has its niche of being useful in sun-producer locked arena
if you also count leveling i know pyre vine becomes one of the best plants in the entire game, but level one is significantly better in terms of actual gameplay imo (adventure and balancing not the oh god arena)

if thebpea vine thing is a joke I'd think it's funny but a plants appearance REALLY shouldn't affect it's tier unless it's a "appearance" tier list, also pumpkin is legally a vine cause it let's you plant plants inside it visually and literally (yes i know this is said in the video), and can be planted on top of a lily pad

I think shine vine is a wrong pick, i did only think it covered sun plants but its decent but like its b tier. Because it stuns yea but its not really “broken” its good i wouldn’t say c but not a it should only be B tier because it does only cost a little but it damages but doesn’t to too much thats why i would rate it a b tier. And the black berry vine should be b becuase it does bad damage but it boosts cannon plants like turkey pult and melon and winter melon. While only doing a bit of damage it is super great and can help in good situations like cabbage pult and kernel pult too. It will give a better chance of butter on kernel pult and it buffs every pult plant on the lawn with only one plant food, despite its cost its super good i wouldnt say super bad but its not super good so its b tier becuase i mean, it does boost a really good type boost and will probably get buffed by popcap in future updates. And explod - o vine is a great pick but they wipp nerf it from this tier list and even though it does good damage and defense it’s probably only a tier and it is s - tier but you should rank it a and do a bit of bad explanation so it doesn’t get nerfed.

One combo that has felt very good with Gloom Vine is pairing it with Noctarine.
They have the same range, and Noctarine's poison will really help deal more damage when powered.
It'll also allow you to place instants like Shadow Shroom on the shadow tiles that Noctarine creates, which is neat.
Do it for the vine
I despise pea vine for how broken it is, but I think the idea of vine plants were so cool

I think Power Vine is easily the worst, it's basically just a worse Pea Vine in every way, the networking is okay, but it feels like Lightning Reed in that you need lots to even make a dent
That’s fair, it definitely does need to be placed quite a bit to be worth using
quite agreeable, Good part though is that you can actually put it on another plant instead of clogging up, which means it's practically just free damage after you've set up your defense (sometimes)

I’d move pumpkin to C tier tbh, wall plants aren’t good in general due to the high amount of instakill zombies, and most plants that are valuable enough to need protection (like winter melon) would be in the back anyway where pumpkin wouldn’t get much action. Also pea vine is completely busted he should be above explodo vine

I never liked these types of plants because the gimmick got super old extremely quickly since the second one, their designs are kinda Sammy Kind of all samey and they just kept making them at a rapid pace
