- This game maybe doesn't make an instant all time great cut because there was not an dramatic finish but it is a important game in NBA history in which we saw Allen Iverson getting to his first and only NBA finals.
In this game we can see a duel between Iverson and Mutombo on one side and Glenn Robinson, Sam Cassell and great Ray Allen on another. Who knows m,aybe the game would finish in different way if Ray Allen didn't strugle with injury but is it imortant game for a legacy o Iverson in which he totally dominated and scored 44 points.

in the 1st quarter iverson is a completely defensive liabitily for the sixers
@star wars fan number 1902 basketball doesnt work like that... IVERSON was my idol back then,but now I can see what his "haters" complained... he carry them offensively but defensively they saved him.. Iverson never won because of his shooting 22 timea per game,u need at least two top scorers on a team... the twam was great btw
The team was built the way it was for that purpose. Coach Brown knew AI was an uninspired defender, granted he lead the league in steals a couple times if I’m not mistaken. That’s why they put rebounders, (Mutumbo, Tyrone Hill) and perimeter defenders (George Lynch, Eric Snow) around him.
