Not all pit bulls are bad, some seem bad because they were in dog fighting or maybe had a past that wasn't that good and they seem scared around humans.
I agree with above that pitbulls act like a bull in a China cabinet a lot and so you can a lot of excited/ hyper dogs but I like how this one is just nibbling on the little guy. Like he wants to use him him as a chew toy but that could potentially turn bad without supervision

Usually two dogs that want to play will play very rough, mouthing each other's necks and wrestling, and can sometimes be confused with fighiting; but is for from that. That bull dog was simply being playful by mouthing the chiuaua, and clearly wasn't hurting it, nor did it have the intention to.
This was SO FREAKING CUTE!!!!!!! That little ball of cuteness was on the “attack” while the big puppy was sooooo gentle and was aware of the size difference 😭😭😍 cutest thing I’ve seen in awhile!
I had a pitbull and my mom had a chihuahua. The little one would always wanna play, just like that but the big dog never really cared if it bit and barked. It's like a wind up toy vs a tonka truck, they know to be gentle

Chicoutimi could be an american bulldog. Has a different head and body shape than a pitbull. Could be mixed as it seems to have characteristics of both a pit and an american bulldog. But doesn’t matter what any of us say anyways. Im sure the owners know more about it than we do, and the video says it’s a bulldog.

Yep, Bulldogs get a bad rep. I grew up with them and as long as there is a dog in my house, some form of bull will be in it. I saw a 85lb American Bull take on a black bear that was charging it's owner and win. The dog didn't kill the bear obviously, but the bear high tailed it out of there after it got ahold of his ass, in my book that's a win.

When you step on a tiny object you observe it get crushed. When an animal does it they observe the same thing. When you hold a small human you know you can crush it. A small dog is like a baby to the big animal and they know physics just like us.

@@sharki9876 pit bulls have an (understandably) undeserved reputation- they're actually good family dogs, better than most by default, they once were the most popular family dogs for a period. The traits that make them seem dangerous- the big jaws, the size, the muscles...are actually the ones that make them the safest by default - you can't breed a dog that can easily beat any adult human in a fight while not also simultaneous ly giving it a good temperament- even when people motivated training with fear that wasn't going to go down well- that's basically a wolf. Its size and strength help in other ways. It has no reason to fear children, they probably couldn't hurt it if they tried children don't necessarily have a well developed sense of rough play and if while playing and one of the children did something silly like grab the dogs tail...it probably wouldn't even feel it and just carry on like normal - try that with a chihuahua...having a dog that is much more imposing than the children can be counterintuitively much safer. Of course the flip side to that is if you do train the dog to be violent, it will excel at that or if you abuse it. Often the training can be accidental- people afraid of the big scary dog getting near their baby. So punish it when it tries...thus teaching the dog that babies/children are dangerous and a bad thing causing it to act aggressively around babies/children...thus causing the very problem they were worried about. The dog has no reason to be aggressive towards babies/children. They pose about as much threat as a baby/child does to you, probably less.

A lot of the bulldog related breeds are insanely gentle. They were farm dogs. They had to be. Don't wanna hurt the baby animals.

@@sharki9876 pit bulls have an (understandably) undeserved reputation- they're actually good family dogs, better than most by default, they once were the most popular family dogs for a period.
The traits that make them seem dangerous- the big jaws, the size, the muscles...are actually the ones that make them the safest by default - you can't breed a dog that can easily beat any adult human in a fight while not also simultaneous ly giving it a good temperament- even when people motivated training with fear that wasn't going to go down well- that's basically a wolf.
Its size and strength help in other ways. It has no reason to fear children, they probably couldn't hurt it if they tried children don't necessarily have a well developed sense of rough play and if while playing and one of the children did something silly like grab the dogs tail...it probably wouldn't even feel it and just carry on like normal - try that with a chihuahua...having a dog that is much more imposing than the children can be counterintuitively much safer.
Of course the flip side to that is if you do train the dog to be violent, it will excel at that or if you abuse it.
Often the training can be accidental- people afraid of the big scary dog getting near their baby. So punish it when it tries...thus teaching the dog that babies/children are dangerous and a bad thing causing it to act aggressively around babies/children...thus causing the very problem they were worried about.
The dog has no reason to be aggressive towards babies/children. They pose about as much threat as a baby/child does to you, probably less.
