my son is 5 just turned he will be starting football here shortly, I'm thinking about coaching his youth team.............. how old are the kids your running this with, any advice would be great.
The team is 11 and 12 years old. You should check out my coaching clinic video series coachparker.org/coaching/youth-football-coaching-clinic-video-series-by-coach-parker/?amp
Winning is one way to define success but we focus on fundamentals and winning comes with that. You can do both but we want to make sure our players are taught the basics in practice.
Honestly that answer made me smile and sub to this channel my friend that's what youth football is all about...it's about making these young men love and respect this sport it's not about winning love this
I would love to do something like this but flexed tackles and unbalanced lines are illegal in our league. Kids over 135 must play on the line from tackle to tackle on offense and no wider than head up the offensive tackles on defense.
You could do just a Diamond bunch with just the TE out there. I do that when we have a quick backside DE rusher. Formation is great for quick screens and crossing routes.
I have never seen a formation quite like this though I am familiar with unbalanced formations great work coach
Glad you enjoyed it
Peace. Thanks for everything Coach
Great vid buddy.. gonna add some of these concepts to my 12-U squad in NJ
Thanks, let me know how I can help. ~Parker

New coach here, in passing formations your Y receiver is eligible correct? Nothing has to be said to the officials?

I've seen passes run at that age but very few ..when I coached my qb could throw but no kid on the team could catch lol..5and 6 year old
How often in a game would you run this formation?
We run about 3 or 4 plays a game with older experienced teams.
I enjoyed it coach
Awesome
ya that Squad Buch screen and other passes from that formation are great. Glad you like it.
So tough year huh lol
Hey coach if the defense thinks you are going to pass to 2 you could have X take off and fake a block and run a fly route
Yes we do that too. All kinds of bunch routes. Works great.
What age group is this?
10 &11u
Coach can u do this with 8 u
If you have a stud 8u team maybe and or tighten the formation and run more from it. I only use at 11U and above.
Is it a formula for Success how good is your team record-wise

Uncovered emol are eligible. Nothing needs to be said to ref. This is NFL rule to report.
