@@FatQuin went pretty well worked with 5th and 6th graders so I was able to even open up the playbook more and be creative at times with the playcalling from these formations , The Team the previous year only won 3 games this year we won 7 and went to the playoffs so it was pretty darn good also we lead our league in scoring as well and I was able to just give mostly every kid on the team valuable playing time which was the most important thing to me
@@FatQuin ran a lot of Beast formation and a lot of wing and Gun T because I had like 5 kids who were just super athletic and big I had to find ways to get them the ball early and fast , I’d say the biggest thing if you are going to coach or are thinking abt doing it in the future is don’t put a lot on the kids but also don’t HOLD back I found out fast that I had some kids who can just talk ball and just know ball and have a greater understanding of football than most kids when they are younger but coaches never really see that because they hold back or simply Put to much on the kids , I was only 19 the last year and was the headCoach and was super nervous more the parent aspect because when I met the kids we just had a great connection and most the kids were ready to work ! I recommend coaching if you have a great passion and love for the sport and want to see kid’s success because it’s definitely a fun time man !

I’m running a 10u team this year and thinking of running this and like a beast formation from under center to really run power some times

It could. If you are scared of the shotgun snap, the plays can be executed from under center.
