I could see this game having a lot more value if using a flight stick.
I enjoyed this when I played it a few years ago, miss these arcadey, colourful early 2000’s games. I do remember it getting difficult later on in the game as the timer gets stricter.
There certainly used to be a lot of this style of game.
Definitely looks more like an arcade or weekend rental kind of game.

I played this when I was just a kid. As strange as it sounds this is one of the games that sparked my love for aviation...

I remember picking up this game and thinking it was either gonna be a fast timed shooter like Time Crisis or it was gonna be a third person action game/shooter. I was incredibly wrong on all counts. I think the last helicopter type game I ever played before this was Chopper Command on the Atari 2600. That's going way back. I think it's nice that games like this were done back then because it gave the PS2 some variety and that's never a bad thing in my book. Something I think modern consoles severely lack today. It's either walking sims or big budget blockbusters or online shooting games now. You don't get many games like this coming out today.
I definitely miss the randomness of previous generations
Super Thunderblade and Desert Strike were the last Helicopter games I played before this one.

@@ShaunTheCHB Desert Strike was fantastic, I used to play that with my dad, Super Thunder Blade was awful though.
Theres something to be said about this sort of game, I'm keen to get my 50 pence worth of fun from it. Looks like it would entertain for a bit.

Picked up this game for 5 dollars back in the day. Seemed fun enough but never ended up playing it much,once Vice city came out that game was my helicopter fix.

You made interesting video,so it wasn't for nothing :) Kinda miss times when I would pick up game, just because the box art/name of game and really enjoyed it. I bought few stinkers as well...but that's pretty normal.
Couldn't agree more. The days when I didn't know about every single game on the planet before it was released and could go browsing for totally new stuff was a real joy.

This game would do with a healthy ton of japanese adhd nonsense on the screen and audio effects to living things up and make it more enjoyable overall.

I had this game my Nan bought it for me in 2002 for my birthday 🙈 I think I played it about 3 times, I didn’t like it at all.
