Awesome! You need to get there super early to get a permit to access the gorge floor / sliding rock. I would call ahead to make sure that they are offering passes that day as some days they don't due to weather. Only 100 are given per day. Glad to hear that you are enjoying the channel! Cheers
@@MetroOnTheMove Lula is also really close to Rainbow falls, just over the TN state line but literally just down the road and still up on Lookout mountain. Fallingwater falls on the adjacent signal mountain is also super cool. Worth checking out for sure! Also, there are no water features, but one of my favorite places to hang out is Rocktown, GA also near Lula Lake. It's an amazing labyrinth of wild water carved sandstone boulders. A truly spectacular place if you haven't been already. For pure hiking bliss, three gorges section of the Cumberland trail is a must, too. If you make it up to Chattanooga area sometime, I can give you a list of really cool spots. Great channel, really enjoyed this highlight reel!
Awesome! These are definitely some of my favorite in Georgia. I recommend going super early to these spots as it can get crowded on the weekends! Thanks for watching! Cheers
Backpacking Trips it’s a great spot. Little crowded at times but some awesome views. I would definitely check our Panther Creek Falls or Tallulah Gorge. Cheers!
@@MetroOnTheMove Been to Tallulah but never on sliding rock and we've done panther creek a few times awesome hike and waterfall. My favorite has to be Jack's river falls loop so many river crossings and a good 2 nighter if you stretch it out.
Gimpy Camper I went over 20 years ago and nearly remember at this point. Want to go back and film so I will have a better reference. Thanks for the suggestion!
Hey! Found you on hikers and outdoor enthusiasts page. We are Tennessee and always looking for new adventures! Georgia isn't that far 😁 Thanks for sharing!
Awesome! I met Nick and Rachel (Snooch TV) on UA-cam and they told me about the group. Thanks for watching and the feedback. Hopefully you enjoy these hikes as much as I did! Cheers!
I LOVE waterfalls and these are certainly some gorgeous ones! I hope we get to see them when we hit the road full-time! Looks like you have a lot of good videos to watch so going to check them out. ;-)
You should take a trip! You can see multiple waterfalls n one day in North Georgia. A good series for you would be DeSoto, Helton and Trahlyta Falls as they are within a few miles of each other and you can do them all in one day. Thanks for watching and your ongoing support of this channel!
Georgia has a lot of great places to hike! Hope you can make it back soon. Been subbed for a while and look forward to seeing more of your adventures! Cheers
Love this intro! so amazing! And it was well place together! We just Subscribed to your channel and looking forward to watching your stuff since we are in the Atlanta are as well. Maybe we will run into each other out there or arrange to do so! Georgia has awesome places that many people don't know about. After moving down here 3 yrs ago from NYC we found out quick!
Thanks for checking my channel out! I was hoping you may like some of the spots in this video. Most of these spots are within an hour and a half to access and are a lot of fun to hike / explore. Let's hope we can all return to the trails soon and yes we may just run into each other as we are out there almost every weekend during normal circumstances. Cheers!
@@MetroOnTheMove we usually favor the Arabia Mountains since they are so close to us. The rock formations there are amazing. We also have just got bikes and will be biking and filming on theses trails as well! Its amazing on how many people have started to reconnect with nature again. Wonder how many of them will stay once things really open up.
Awesome! Thank you for watching, the comment and the sub! These are some of my favorite hikes to date. Been exploring a few new areas to visit so stay tuned for more waterfalls videos in 2020! Cheers
Ive been using the GoPro8 & and iphone with a gimbal in most of my videos. The GoPro8 still has some kinks but the stabilization is great! You can get a decent gimbal for around $80 or so. Thanks for watching and the comment!
I love Georgia. I knew a few secret waterfalls in Dahlonega that I loved. Thanks for the footage. Have you visited Colorado? I shoot some mountaineering/hiking videos out here. Keep at it!
Freaked me out when I saw Amicalola Falls with leaves on the trees. At first I thought, "what are those?" Then I realized of the three times I've hiked in Georgia it's always been in March. 😆
It is nice living so close to the southern terminus of the Appalachian Trail and having so many awesome waterfalls to explore in North Georgia. I was there for the 2020ATKO right before they shut down the trail. Very happy that they have reopened the AT as we were out there last week and hiked from Hogpen Gap to Neel Gap. Good times. Thanks for watching!
Went to Amicalola Falls today and was hiking up with my dog to Springer Mountain. We almost made it to the top I’d assume until we saw a black bear cub in the distance. Never had to encounter one before but I turned right around before my dog saw it
The approach trail is no joke! It's 8 miles to Springer and is straight up most of the way. I have run into a bear a few times on the AT. It was between Hogpen Gap and Unicoi as that section is less populated. I put my trekking poles in the air and screamed and the bear took off. the other time was up near Bly gap. Thanks for watching!
Thanks my friend for the comment and the sub! Hope you found a few new areas to explore. Been subbed to your channel for a while and have been enjoying your videos. Cheers
That makes me want to going hiking, especially the water slide in the heat of summer. I subbed and hit that bell. Thanks for checking out my channel and Subbing
It is such a great place to visit. Even though this is a short hike, it is very challenging in some places as you will have to scramble some boulders to get to this location. However, I would rank this as one of my all time favorite hikes.
Always nice to hear about places to hike in Georgia.👍
Tallulah Gorge was one of my favorite hikes to date. Thanks for watching!
I loved Cloudland! A lot of these places are on my list, the first one being Tallulah Gorge 😁

Lots of spectacular falls! Definitely need to get to your area one day. 👍 Excellent job.
