I've been a Christian for many many years. But lately I find it hard to read the bible and absorb the word into my heart. By God's grace, I came across this audio Bible read by David Suchet. I close my eyes and read the Bible with him while I listen to the audio. The word becomes pictures in my mind. Thank God for always remembering me and caring for my needs! Praise the LORD!
Yes not sure why. But faith does come by hearing the WoRd.

For some, the written word is inaccessible-for many & varied reasons-mental or physical.
I, for instance have a very rare ( very silly) condition that prevents me from physically holdimg a book.
It's a condition that didn't manifest until I was 52, & if it weren't for this audio, I'd be prevented from access to scripture. ❤
Yes listening allows us to absorb and soak in the word, this is healthy and effective
I think it's more productive to read new testament first. Take the time to study details or curiosities in the nt ,try to make a mental note of them and then when reading the ot you may find answers to them.

The listening is so easy and enjoyable because of the tone of voice and superb reading. I honestly enjoy listening for hours. David Suchet is reading Gods word that never returns null or void, it's not David that is doing anything in your life, it's God, Gods word, the Holy Spirit that is making changes in your life. The more you surrender to Jesus, accept the Holy Spirit as the comforter Jesus left for us so that we wouldn't be alone, the more you build relationship with the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, the more you will continue to change. Appreciate Davids choice to read Gods word, however, give God the glory for the changes in you that are taking place.
It is God David is reading the word, you need to relisten listen as though the person speaking is talking David does a great job but he is delivering the word of the LORD.
Thats the voice you can easily listen to. Wonderful work.

God is so good. When Jesus said “don’t you know me Phillip” for some reason that hit me so hard. It hits the heart. I love to feel the Holy Spirit work in me. I am far from where I need to be but I know the lord has a big plan for me 🙏🏽❤️

I am in process of converting to Catholicism; however I love any version of the Bible being read by David Suchet, what a beautiful voice, for reading scripture.
There is only one God and his firstborn of the dead Jesus the anointed one.
Who spoke the words of God.
This is what John was referring to when he said the word became flesh.
You will not find this simple truth in any traditional church.

I believe we are in the cusp of knowledge being revealed to us through technology. Mainly, having the Bible in audio format. listening to the Bible for those of us who struggle to read something and understand it is a blessing. Not that Bible is revealing in a easyway under any type of medium but we are blessed to live at a time that there is no more excuses not to try to let God in through his word. Listening to the Bible had brought me back to Christ. I listen to all the gospels religiously since I was brought back to Him and a lot had been revealed in my heart and mind. Once you listen or read the word of God something bittersweet happens. You cry randomly. You learn to forgive and you learn to let go and let God in. It changes you from within. It’s not easy at times but I know I no longer walk alone in life. To be more honest, I learned now I never did walk alone. I just walked in shame and anger from my past. Self pity was my shield and pride was my sword. Not knowing all I need it was Christ in my spirit. 🙏🏼❤️✝️ Thank you God for providing all these Audio books.
it was given to and it can be taken away. dont rely on technology for any form of revelation. read the real thing audio book is only complementary and transient.

Thank you, David, for your meaningful reading of the greatest story ever told. I often wonder what your conclusion must be of the true IDENTITY of Jesus, of whom you so eloquently read. We're all aware of Trinitarian Orthodoxy defining him as God.
But as one reads of Jesus' beautiful humility and relationship to God as shown by his prayer in JOHN 17 we observe one who loved God, longed to return to be alongside Him and who acknowledged that all he possessed, had been given him by God. 17:⁵,⁷ As someone once said: If we want to discern Jesus' true POSITION...we need only to discern his DISPOSITION.
In the humble subservience of Christ we see, not the mark of Omnipotence but the mark of Obedience... a quality incompatible with One who is Supreme ...the only"True God"...from whom Jesus differentiated himself. See John17: 3

the more I look around the more demons I be fightin,
they hate whats in me, its called Unconditional Love, theres only one place that comes from, and thats from strait up above,

these bars are like my bullets and the Lord is my vest, protecting me from all the evil thats how I know that I'm blessed
now I'm pushin and I'm strivin for the end of the race, seekin his face, at the same time covered in grace,
cuz i'm redeemed by the blood of Jesus cuz he came here to be, the one and only Son of God our Savior you see,
now I'm humbled that I see cuz I use to be blind, walking down a road to destruction, the devil thought he had my soul,
but you gotta understand, I was chosen for this walk it was all part of Gods plan,
to be a vocal warrior for the lost and confuzed, dazed and amused, thinkin I'm tryin to fake the good news,
I'm bringin a light to this reality and salt to this equation, this isnt a matter of thought and this isnt persuasion,
this is spoken truth strait here to see, each and every one of you get saved and you'll be,
not only born again but you'll be forgivin of all things, revealed the truth, revealed the life and be broken of all chains.
But just remember the devils out here tryin to snatch you up quick, walkin around roarin like a lion he's sick,
so when the temptations come around and your heart starts tuggin, thats Jesus saying come this way the devils just buggin,
thats when you suite up with the full armor of God, shine your light and get to teachin with the whole squad,
cuz that's why we're here fam is to spread the good news, that there is life after death Jesus paid all the dues!

Some people call It the New Age, well I call it the Test of Time, the only reason I commit myself to these rhymes Is I so Hope one day God will show you THE SIGNS!

cuz I'm 2 Blessed to be Stressed so put me to the Test cuz I'm as tough as the rest and I dont even Flex my Chest
It's just the way of my life, ever since I found the Lord I been going through Trials and Strife
But I'm still looking to the sky knowing what's above, knowing everytime I pray Peace and Love descends like a Dove
Which keeps me ready for the fight and keeps my eyes strait and narrow , so everytime the devil tries to tempt me he gets shot down by my arrow

For satan is his name and Hate is the game, In which we need to Conquer and bring Shame to his Fame
For he's the Trickster of this world here to Destroy everything in his path, here to kill the Love and clean up the Aftermath
