Nice.. but I'd be making my jewelry, not sending it to some manufacture. There is no joy or pride in that.
+jamie hollaway Some people tend to enjoy the process of design rather than making it them selfs, but I know what you mean by there being no pride.
Thank you for your comment. At JDMIS we offer 4 tracks of learning:
1. DIPLOMA IN FINE JEWELLERY DESIGN
This is specifically for designing jewellery digitally:
jdmis.edu.sg/JDMIS-Diploma/diploma-in-fine-jewellery-design.html
2. DIPLOMA IN PRECIOUS METAL ART
This is meant to physically produce jewels from scratch:
jdmis.edu.sg/JDMIS-Diploma/diploma-in-precious-metal-art.html
3. DIPLOMA IN FASHION JEWELLERY ARTS
This one is to learn how to assemble jewels from existing pieces:
jdmis.edu.sg/JDMIS-Diploma/diploma-in-fashion-jewellery-arts.html
We have also courses in entrepreneurship with regards to jewellery, but they are not yet compiled as a Diploma.
Great! We have 2 main learning paths that can guide you to producing your own jewellery.
At the end of these 2 tracks you would be able to produce and commercialise your own jewellery:
