Beautiful ride but I feel for you. Why? I owned a 2013 4Runner where I put a lift on it and big tires like that, and once the family was in it and it was loaded it was an absolute gutless wonder. I would struggle to keep it on the highway above 75 mph.
After five years of that I sold it and got a Lexus GX 460 and wow that V8 made all the difference. It is a shame that 4.6L V8 never made it into the 4Runner.
True facts! I hate the 4Runner as a daily. Especially on the highway. Nose dive is also bad. Now that the price are high on them, it makes it way to buy better options for daily driving.

Sr5 premium as the turn signal In the door mirrors , dual power seats and softech material ,mine has dual heated front seats ,heated steering g wheels and heater for the wipers .bought it from avis car sales with 20k miles at the end of last year ,it was a 2023 model paid 35k

Reports today just said they’re delaying shipping until December/ January so they’ll probably land early 2025. They were supposed to land and hit lots around December but there’s a parts shortage.

I love these, but they are horrible daily drivers. Sluggish, nose dive, sloshy around corners, bad mpg, not stable on highway. If the traffic stops fast on highway, these stop poorly. Horrendous nose dive. The frame rust out fast too. Paint is horrible.
These are great for off-roading. They run forever. They look cool.

My 21 SR-5 Premium was really loaded up with TRD trim and when I was going to order a 24, it would have stickered at 52,000. I decided to get the Pro for 6,000 more.

lifting a 5th gen 4Runner will cause all kinds of problems, it's been known for 15 years now, not to do it. The front end wasn't designed for it. For some strange reason.

SO tired of dealer addons, just like you said COVID is over. It's another level of discussion in actual close to the sale.
5th Gen 4Runners are notorious for not liking to be lifted. Even lifting the front an inch can cause problems, it just wasn't designed with lifting in mind, the biggest con with the 5th Gen 4runner. It's been known for 15 years now, so a dealership lifting one 3 inches isn't doing you any favors. They just can't help themselves; they finally get in a basic SR5 or TRD Offroad and they have to stick all kinds of stuff on them and overcharge you for it.
You have plenty of time to think about the 4runner before dropping the ball and getting one, Toyota just announced the delay of the new 4runner 🙄

Best at what? Off roading, yes. Daily driving they are slow and unstable on the highway. Nose dive is bad, especially on highway if traffic comes to a fast stop. It’s scary.
If you do a lot of rock crawling and drive at slow speeds in city, yes it’s good. If one drive a lot on highway and curvy roads, it’s horrible. That’s why many end up selling them. They also rust out fast.
They do look great and run for a long time with cheap easy maintenance.
They need to put v8s in them But of course they will go stupid.!!!
