I see more passion and heart in this gent in 2 minutes than I've seen in our approach all season......he's spot on-for a club such as this, you need a big personality. As much as I dislike Mourinho, moreso for the kind of interviews that he gave post-game at Villa, who's to say he wouldn't have toned down his approach at Man Utd to be more ambassadorial and more dignified? Was Ferguson not spiky post-match?
I keep saying this after every game.....it's not the defeats that hurt, it's the nature of them. The players can show commitment upto a point, but when they're being asked to play revolving door style tactics, they aren't going to be motivated, bottom line.
The guy has seen Sir Mat and the proper "transitional" period that United went through,(relegation , coming back to top flight etc) for me supporters like Ray are right up there with SAF.. If supporters who have been supporting the club for their whole life is saying get DM out, you can't argue with them...
One thing though, the supporters won't ever turn their back on the manager because THE LOVE THE CLUB WAY TOO MUCH AND THEY ARE A CLASS APART.!!.

I watch this on a daily basis. Rant personified. no matter what happens to David Moyes now, whether there's a miracle and he turns it around, gets sacked or god forbid we stick with him and continue in limbo for another season, Ray 'Bobbins' and this video will go down in United folklore. a reference point for this disaster of a season summed up in less than 3 minutes, and will be watched by generations to come. Instead of the season review DVD, you could just watch this for a better analysis, and to be straight, probably more entertaining than the shit being served up on the pitch.

The fact that Gary Neville identified why Januzaj and Mata were useless in 20 minutes while Moyes didnt understand that for 75 minutes says everything. Anyone with half a football brain can do a better job than the clown we have.
And the worst thing is he isnt really under much pressure so thats not an excuse. The fans are behind him (even 3-0 down they were singing), the board is behind him and the media is giving him an easy ride and not asking why he deserves the job....

There were numerous remarks throughout the game e.g. when the substitutions were made he said 'well they have 15 minutes remaining, you would have thought he would have made those changes at half-time'. At the end he said something along the lines of 'the tactics were all wrong'.
He certainly wasn't 'falling all over himself'. (You also have to bare in mind his brother is one of the coaches, he can't flat out insult him on air + he will have a private insight into what's going on behind the scenes. He does well to hide it).

SAF had won 12 trophies before he came to United. Read that again 12 Trophies! He broke up the stronghold in Scotland and beat Madrid, he was an up and coming young manager with pedigree and when he joined United in November of 1986 United were 19th in table.
Moyes has won fuck all and he inherited the champions of England. Everton are actually doing better off without him, says it all, an absolute disgrace. He should have been gone yesterday, he should have been gone weeks ago, he should have been gone months ago, in fact he shouldn't have even got the fucking job!

Sick of people comparing SAF first season with moyes, there is no comparison. Yeah SAF finished lower but did he inherit the champions of England, no. Did he have the finances and technology that is available now, no. Did he have the facilities at OT that are there now, no. I think I have proven my point. Stop comparing them. Everything was against SAF but moyes had all he could want handed to him on a silver platter
One more thing people forget is that SAF had proven himself not only in Scotland with Aberdeen but also in Europe. Again with a team like Aberdeen. I would happily give Moyes more time if he had something to show for. If he was the right kind of manager he would have atleast won the Europa League with Everton and several other "not important" cups like the league cup. The poor guy is just not fit for the job. I feel really bad for him. And I am really pissed at the same time as well. :P

I agree but the thing is there is no passion anymore that's what I look for the most. I don't care if we're loosing a game IF you can see the players are hungry and there showing there going to fight till the whistle goes. But I haven't seen that once this season as soon as the opposition score they give up. Can't remember the exact stats but a commentator was saying when we score first in a game we usually go on to play well but if the oppo score first we're atrocious. But your right he doesn't have credentials worthy of taking over the biggest club in England.
I agree with you its like a snowball effect. Loosing once knocks there confidence and makes them re-think their ability which then has an impact on there performance in the next game and if they loose that all three doubts are multiplied and so on like a snowball. But you can tell there all unhappy, have no passion and are not playing for the manager. Half of them are to distracted about where they will be next season and the other half are either underused (chicarito/kagawa) or they just don't look at moyes as the boss. The worst thing is the fans spend more time on their feet and trying to send messages to the players than moyes does

Actually Barca have about the same purchasing power as Utd, maybe more, but not by much. We spent about 65M on 2 players, which is quite a lot really. Unlimited? I would say that's not true, but the fund is there, and there is about 200m rumored to be available in the summer. Barca bought Neymar, Utd bought Mata and Fellaini. Manchester United is more than a football club its a football empire that has been built for over 25years and irrespective of the owner or manager, certain philosophies would not change. In my opinion Manchester United would not spend £100 million on anyone, the club prefers to work on bringing out the best in the players they have and i think that is the problem they have now. Of all the Manchester United players, Juan Mata is the only that has come out to acknowledge there is a problem. Everyone else is just keeping quite because they simply do not care. There is no passion from the players, and every 90minutes is just a disgrace even when they are winning.
Nike deal is £600 million and Chevrolet is £300 million and shirt sales, tickets, TV rights etc generates almost ££500 million so there is unlimited funds to buy players. Just that it's not our style to buy players for entertainment like City, Chelsea etc. If Klopp goes to United he will rule Europe.

Fool, unless you live under a rock, Dortmund are struggling at this point, with a complicated calender ending. They are in a situation were they could easily miss out on CL. Also, Man utd have more money than Dortmund, a sad truth. Dortmund will have to follow a business model of Buy low sell high for quite some years before they could even rival Bayern. At Utd, he would have all the financial backing he wants, and the history of Utd is a plus too. He will be managing the team with the biggest fan base on earth, so exactly how is that a step down? Its not like Dortmund will be doomed, as they could have De Boer who would do as good of a job.
