- The Simpsons throw a Mardi Gras party, having invited most of the town. Marge asks Homer to invite Ned Flanders, which he reluctantly does. As they clean up the party the following morning, Lenny asks how they pay for the huge yearly party. Homer gleefully confesses that he borrows from a home equity line to do so, calling his home a "sucker" for getting stuck with the bill.

Homers is the real sucker.
Yeh only read a slogan, "what ever you borrow, will put it on your home."

Ned Flanders is such a buzzkill!
That's why Homer didn't want to invite him because he was going to do something like this.

How did Bart teacher change into a different dress right away
Ned would never were that
The animation became too elaborate around this time. I sense they were trying to impress us, but it was a mistake. They also went overboard with the pacing, which became too self-consciously tight. (This is very often the reason people watching any given show or movie say "You can tell they're acting.")
They should've just concentrated on the scripts, and they didn't.
Roro
Peppermint Patty is not a gay she just a Tomboy
It's a harsh reality that people like Ned are allowed to exist. I mean. They can, but why don't they live in a place where only their type and kind can live, and leave us normal people alone?
The name of the song?
when the saints go marching in
+Maria T When the saints go over there! No over there! No over there!
Press 3 on the tab to laugh your ass off XD
Aaa
Do prodasants even have confession
Nah. The concept of "do whatever you want, confessing it later will clean your vest" is preeetty questionable anyways.
They don’t. But at this point they incorporate different aspects of Christianity onto Ned Flanders just to have him be the obvious stereotype! Just annoying really
This is sad.
They really should call it Simpsons One (the first ten seasons of quality) and Simpsons Two (the phone-it-in years).
Hey, this episode was perfectly decent. Not a good example to defend your opinion.
@@wikiuser92 I don't know this episode. But I know this scene...and it's dumbed down comedy.
@@McRocket You should see the whole episode before judging it.
@@wikiuser92 I already said, I am not judging the whole episode - just the scene. And it is dumb comedy.
And I have seen enough newer Simpsons episodes to know that it sucks.
And I am miles from being alone on this.
@@McRocket I know that. But this episode is amongst the better modern ones. Plus, I think it contains some pretty heartfelt moments.
well no wonder why Homer is more annoying its from S20....
Just a friendly reminder of why I hate modern Simpsons
I barely know the modern simpsons episode, but yeah, I feel it's so different just watching this clip.
