Basically, Jaclyn Hill released a line of lipsticks. This was fine, and probably no one would have cared, but the lipsticks had little black holes in them, as well as hairs and white fuzz. Some people also found debris like metal or glass. I think they tested positive for mold? I'm not completely sure.
Anyways, people are angry and want Jaclyn Hill to recall the lipsticks so that no one gets hurt and they're mad that she hasn't already. I'm not really up-to-date at all, but this was the last I heard.

Aside from that. The price seems exagerated? For the same price one can buy established brands (you know will be consistent in fornula and quality control) even some nice all organic lipsticks. For a price like that one should expect to get a product manufactured up to standart.

So, it isn’t just me who thinks so! I think she didn’t need a bunch of these shades because they’re so close to one another.
My lips are paler than my fair skin so sight variation of a lipstick tone is noticeable they wouldn't look the same on someone like me the question is are they worth it ? There are some flower beauty lipsticks that are cheap and compare to mac or urban decay so why splurge on jaclyn hill cosmetics 🤷🏻♀️

She most likely knew the lipsticks were bad and delayed PR. If not, I really don't know.
I don't think her being selfish was the point, in my opinion, I think that was a calculated move, people would be able to review the lipsticks and possibly prevent people from buying them during the launch, had she sent the pr out before the launch.
I'm low key mad that you spent almost $300 for that but I'm here for lip swatching videos.

Even though the lipsticks have been having so many issues I was living for when you had ambition on your top lip and hot tottie on your bottom lip.. I think you could make a pretty gradient effect with those 2.. ♡
UPDATE: Nyma is still with us, and her lips seemed to have survived unscathed. (Even with the possibility of a little PTSD in the future).

If those fuzzies really came from gloves which I doubt, those fuzzies could've been in direct contact with people's skin/hair before entering the product and that's nasty. If someone ate a pizza which had bits of fuzz on it, I'd call that gross too and bet you'd agree if this was food huh. Well it's no different with lipsticks. *I noticed that the PR packages are in better condition than the packages people have bought, an influencer bought plus got a package and that was the result.*

I don't think there were ever reports of health issues, just quality. But still refundable 💋
@@jomoon4278 As of now, there have been multiple reports of rashes and infections caused by the lipstick. One person even claimed that they were cut by the lipstick and plastic and metal shards have been found in the lipstick. 100% a health hazard. Pictures were provided for these incidents, but you shouldn't look if you have a weak stomach. There have been multiple UA-camrs now that have seriously looked into the issue to figure out what's going on. No significant mold or bacteria was found from what I've seen, but the rashes could be caused by a chemical or something else of the sorts. Plus, plastic and metal shards are overall a big no no for anything made for consumption or application to skin, especially skin as thin as lip skin, which is also right by your mouth. I'm sure I'm missing things and more information will surface over time, but this product is not safe to be applying to your skin. It's not worth the risk. Any other product with similar problems would have been IMMEDIATELY pulld off the shelves once even the slightest signs of contamination were reported a significant amount, especially since all of them are from the same batch, meaning they are ALL contaminated.
