The blue and grey Mk3's arrived today and having a run with the swallow set. Could be a little while before both are running together on the upper level though.
Many people have had coupling issues with the HST sets including me. My swallow set has had magnetic couplings fitted which has alleviated the coupling up and self uncoupling, but, as a couple of others have said when pushing the odd coach seems to derail on curves even though all couplings are the same.

Although a steam man through and through with a tiny bit of green diesel thrown in I have to say these do look nice.

Those two whole sets probably costed more that your whole model railway and stock so far
Not really lol. Each set of coaches is only just more than one steam loco.
