One thing i do when i set the table is cover the plate with clear plastic shower caps to keep the bugs off the plates before guest arrives

Thanks, the curtains came from a store in New York called Bobby’s but they are just sheer curtains you should be able to get them at any store like Walmart or hobby lobby

very nice tablescape! but what ticks me off is when people are invited to a dinner party to celebrate an event, some of them are constantly on their phone, texting facebook or whatever. i think its very disrespectful to the host. unless its an emergency call or you checking on the kids , (they will call you if something comes up). out of respect you should not be in a corner on your phone. this is what a dinner party is about,enjoying eachothers company. not mingling with the Damn phone. or either stay home and mingle with the phone! bythe way you my dear look absolutely stunning. Enjoy your birthday ok.and make sure you pamperyourself!
