As a new Jimmy fan, initially I didn't understand who Guillermo was or why he was on the show. But now I'm starting to understand, his smile and laugh are so endearing and his candid personality is really heartwarming. It perfectly offsets Jimmy's sarcastic and sometimes caustic style.

It's possible that she just knows her daughter (as in knows the answers to the questions) and was a little nervous about being on TV. Or perhaps she was nervous because you never know what the little rascals will say, and you want them to do well.

How weird that in the US, a girl who lied to her parents trying to avoid school is highlighted ones TV show and it's considered funny. Like.. why? And that the mum is willing to go on TV and be proud of it all. This is.. so weird.
I completely agree. 5 days of no TV seems pretty lenient as a punishment. At the very least she is remarkably well spoken for am 8 year old.
