While the production and team did a great job in this recreation, I think what hits for me the hardest is the ending, that sunset right when we hear the music that is played during "Long Live The King" scene, and how as Mufasa falls to his death, we see the sun setting down, evoquing Mufasa's original words: "A King's time as ruler rises and falls like the sun, one day Simba, the sun will set down my time here, and will rise with you as the new king". It's a symbolism that reflects how Mufasa's life has come to an end and his reign is over as his life is taken away, and makes the ending even more heartbreaking.
