Hello Everyone! I have included some extra information about some of the locos shown in this video, be sure to let me know if you like this. Have a great day 😃
OOOOOOO, my local. 'Costa A La Scarbados' Yeah, the RHTT trains now run annually via Scarborough as compared to before, they ran as far as Malton. Since then, Scarborough TMD is now back open in operational use for Nova 3's and every 2 hours to Manchester Piccadilly. Scarborough for Sunday has 'Sprinter Sunday' as the class 150's and 158's will work on Scarborough to Sheffield with few 170's in action. Outstanding footage and thank you for visiting my local :-)
Scarbados indeed Ricky! Some very kind drivers in your area too. I spent over an hour talking to the TPE driver which gave me a horn, a lovely chap. A unique station too but required quite a bit of walking as you can see 😃
Great Video as always starlife!- and damn, lovely catch of the 37s aswell!- their motors when they depart will always be classic and legendary- it just sounds so grand😭- and as always, keep up the great work lad!
I am infact going to Scarborough tommorow! Those nova 3s certainly look the part. It’s a shame they don’t run the full route to Liverpool lime street anymore
Thank you starlife for these vids, since joining Greater Anglia as a conductor this year have loved watching these vids even more than before, also really helps with Railway knowledge
Welcome to the railway family Mark! I'll have to let you know when I'm back in the GA area and we can have a chat!! I really appreciate your kind comments, Scarborough was very far from home base and required driving for several hours but its absolutely worth it for me 😃
@@StarlifeStudios wow that would be great I am based at Norwich. I do enjoy going through your videos and seeing all the variation of trains on the rail network.
Yep, theres plenty of it! Not sure if you're booked onto InterCity or Regionals (or both) but my next one in that area will either be Westerfield or Ely.
Great video mate always great to see 37s and 68s. I like the extra info about the locos etc. Sorry I didn't get back to you about the info you required. I've been mega busy the last few days.
Thank you Ben, it wasn't a problem! I fully understand work comes first and I appreciate all the help you give me 😊 You'll be glad to know it wasn't a special 66 (66745) and the SIT express didn't run, but there's always next time.
Scarborough railway station, formerly Scarborough Central, is a Grade II listed station serving the seaside town of Scarborough, North Yorkshire. It lies 42 miles east of York and is one of the eastern termini on the North TransPennine route, operated by TransPennine Express. The station is also at the northern end of the Yorkshire Coastline and is reputed to have the longest station seat in the world at 456 feet long. From 1907 until 2010 the station approaches were controlled from a 120-lever signal box named Falsgrave. In its final years, the Falsgrave box controlled a mixture of colour-light and semaphore signals, including a gantry carrying 11 semaphores. The signal box was decommissioned in September 2010 and the gantry was dismantled and removed in October 2010. Its new home was Grosmont railway station, on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway. The new signalling is a relay-based interlocking with two- and three-aspect LED signals controlled from an extension to the existing panel at nearby Seamer. Simplification of the track layout and major renewals took place at the same time.
Great video as always Starlife! I had a pretty eventful day yesterday - saw 46115 Scots Guardsman in the morning, got bowled pretty badly ten minutes later, then saw a man have a seemingly-unprovoked angry outburst - shouting, swearing and throwing his expensive-looking tripod on the ground and kicking it. Then in the afternoon I got absolutely drenched in the rain.
@@ConfusedOxygen I don't know but he left immediately afterwards, shouting at the other man who was with him the whole time. It happened right as a freight train was approaching so my best guess is that maybe he started filming it but then his SD Card ran out of storage maybe?
These are tanks containing water for spraying the rail head. This is a regular operation for keeping the track clear of leaves in autumn. Thanks for watching.

I do remember going to Scarborough once with my dad on the train and it’s quite a nice seaside town in North Yorkshire.
I love the video thanks for posting this😊
Great video again! Nice to see some coastal trains👍
Great one ❤💯😃
Great video👍
Beautiful video
Nice video
Always love to see the 37s in action, but not sure you can call an RHTT freight!
Classic livery on that 37
DRS do a fantastic job of recognising their 37s history and the Regi Rail livery works perfectly on them. Thanks 😊
Nice video mate 👍
Thanks Arnold 👍
I'd love to see a video at Ipswich or Westerfield. They both have good freight traffic and are nice
First and cool stuff
Awesome
No trophy for you 😈😈😈😈
@@BusKid110 ZIP IT 😡😡😡
Wouldn’t it be cool if we had a transpennine express service (Nova 3) that went from Scarborough - Blackpool north (Via Halifax)?
I’m going there this year or next year just to see the class 68
Nice
Nice vid stwrlife

Do a train horns compilation
