Lovely interview Lee. I'm a Reading fan and Todd was my all time favourite rider. Just hearing Todd's voice again brought back lovely memories. Hearing the stories about the world final in 1990 and his time with the Racers was actually a bit choking for me. 1990 was my first season watching speedway and i went to the world final and stood on a little milk crate on the first bend. Will still be my best night of speedway ever. All the best Lee and thanks for a cracking interview.
Lee, what a really great interview. Todd was a class act on track and clearly is off it too. Top man and special memories watching him race. Fascinating to hear about his life and experience in the sport. Huge respect for him.
Great interview, Todd comes over as a really humble guy. Unlucky with injuries, probably didn't have that ruthless edge to be a world champ, bit similar to my hero Shooey in that regard. Top class rider though. Plus his white leathers and bikes always looked mint.
Get the feeling Todd would've been happy to do a couple more hours😁. Great stuff. Remember seeing Todd at reserve for Wimbledon at Milton Keynes Groveway in early 88, then coming back later in the year as number one. This was repeated two years later when he was at Coventry as reserve for Reading, then a few months later came back as top man in the team. Always loved watching him race. Part of that fantastic group of Aussies in the late Eighties. Great that life has been good to him. Top man.
Good video Lee, along with Leigh Adams, Todd one of the best riders never to be world champion. Steve Schofield would be a good guest to interview also Craig Boyce, Andrew Silver, brilliant job Lee, keep up the good work 👍👍
Great... No brilliant interview! I’ve followed Todd since is first meeting at Wimbledon, brighten up the place with his white PD leathers/bikes and Blonde hair! Super nice bloke and achieved a lot more than he actually lets on! No one was more gutted than Me at Cardiff GP when he lifted coming out the 2nd bend last lap and Ryan Sullivan pipped him to the Flag,🤦♂️ Well done Lee for catching up with Todd..
Todd was quality no doubt...career 1 as Todd puts it was for me his best era...such a shame but for injuries he could have kicked on to World Champion in my opinion
todd was a star with great ability and personality, his come back was very brave to leave his family and try again ,and he had success ,a humble man the opposite to john davis and better looking
Fantastic interview ... i have a lot of respect for Todd.

Lee, would be great if you can catch up Billy Hamill and make interview with him too. One of the top riders in history of modern speedway.
