Coming from an ex long distance runner. Training in high altitude does not mean going to the mountains every sunday for that long run. No, it means your camp is in altitude, in the mountains. You sleep, you train, you live there. If you do not allow your body at least 2-3 weeks in altitude you will not see an increase in red blood cell count. Up there, there is less amount of oxygen, therefore your body creates more once it realizes its not the workout, its the actual habitat. Then once you come back down to sea level, you have all these extra red blood cells and your aerobic fitness is through the roof for about 2-3 weeks until your body adjusts to the new levels of oxygen in the air.

Only problem is Ryan doesn't really box lol. He mostly just relies on his speed and power instead of setting up shots. He also doesn't have much head movement. It's hard to suddenly become a technician overnight when he hasn't shown much development after all these years.
