That has cool implications for It Means Everything. We never see Sunny's reaction to Aubrey's crazy stuff on the first day, but if that's true, it could show how it probably freaked him out a lot seeing how badly Aubrey changed.
@Helva we finished high school and went our separate ways, i still talk to some of them but they live too far for us to meet regularly. Remembering those times where we used to sit down and chat everyday after school makes me tear up a little, they really are amazing people.

The knife was the most logical decision, basically saying to Aubrey “If this fight continues, both of us are going to get hurt badly. Let’s stop.” And the argument “Aubrey doesn’t hit them with the bat”. Sunny doesn’t know that from his perspective. From his perspective, Aubrey has turned violent and started terrorizing Basil with a gang. (I’m not saying she is in the wrong, that’s up to the players moral system, but from Sunnys perspective, he doesn’t know the photos have been pinned on Basil and that’s why this is happening.) Also, the cut was most likely somewhere near the arm, not the eye, since you see the cut near the top left, but the photo of Aubrey does not show injuries, meaning the knife wound was near the top of the arms or shoulders.
The track OMORI is, in my opinion, what having a depressive episode followed by an anxiety attack feels like...this is exactly how I feel when this happens...just becomes too much all at once...Tis an amazing soundtrack though. Nothing has been able to capture that feeling exactly before until I heard that track.
YES I didn't know exactly why i was feeling so emotional at first but the song made me very emotional it made me start to shake and bite my nails while i was fighting Omori including when Omori was talking down on sunny it reminded me of my alter ego which most likely made the game effect me more

this is one of those extreme moments where i loved an entire soundtracks. I can think of a lot of games with great soundtracks but i never found myself literally loving every single song along with each song having its own mood and setting to it. What a fantastic job.
Yeah I tried making a list of my favourite songs in order by separating them out into boxes, but I ended up with like 3/4 of the songs in ‘absolute jam’ or ‘emotional sledgehammer’ categories so I gave up trying to rank them.

The track OMORI is a perfect boss battle theme. It captures everything: the emotions in the high notes, the increasing glitching making it sound desperate... perfect. How omocat did this with a 10 second violin loop is beyond me!
I can't get over how perfect By your side is. This melody conveys so much of Sunny's love for his sister, how happy she makes him feel, how safe. It's pure genious.
I have no favorite moment in OMORI because they simply are all so beautiful. It has a sense of nostalgia and the feeling of having no worries when you were a kid, while simultaneously having the feeling of learning the realities of the world for the first time. The entire game breaks me apart, and that is why I love it.
i cried like 20 times already. Just hearing the song, seeing a piano or stairs just makes me wanna tear up. My mind always goes back to final duet and i hate it i hate tearing up, people around me would think im a crybaby for crying every 30 mins bc i looked at stairs for 2 seconds

I'm Latin but I'll try to translate this. Listening to this music, the following theory arose in me. In the fight against Omori remember that he receives encouragement from his friends before playing. I think that in Sunny's mind he tries to surpass Omori even imagining that his friends do it. But that's exactly what he imagines that his friends support him even if he's not in real life. It's very sad if you think about it like that, having to imagine scenarios where they support you even if it's not real.
I now know why I was somehow drawn to these soundtracks... They have a very Over The Garden Wall vibe which I absolutely live for. Never played the game but the muuusicccc!!!

@Hunterkage Joestar Omori doesn't hate sunny at all, he loves him more than anyone, and what he is trying to do with the final fight and the entire creation of the headspace is protecting him form the truth which would (in Omori's opinion) damage him more than he already is. The final battle with OMORI is the demonstration that Omori's plan to protect sunny has failed and will never work. The truth will always come back and what omori can do at that point is killing sunny and protecting him from all the pain that will hit him once known the truth. Omori does it to protect sunny, and chooses to kill himself too to finally compete his "mission", jumping from the hospital roof. Omori is one of the best characters ever made in my opinion and also the most misunderstood one

my first thought in my head when see OMORI are "this game would be very boring" and when I know this game are psychological-horror genre I kinda instersted. when I play it in the first time its boring. very cute, sweet, adorable but boring (I really like the artstyle when I first saw it though). but, when I finished.. it's hits different. Im afraid and feel anxious in the photo of the accident. the ending really incredible, I love how they end it like that (the real ending/good ending). I feel like I'm in some dream land or fantasy land. it's an unknown feelings, idk tho. I always cry when I see the "duet" scene. this game had a really deep feelings.
