I was in foster care and I literally refused to get adopted. There are some sickos out here and once you're legally adopted there is no case manager anymore.

Adoption = your kids=no CPS. Foster care is meant to be temporary, and CPS checks on those kids.

A church took my grandparents to court to place my Mom and her siblings in foster care. Most were never returned, and they didn't have case workers. The foster parents just took them as their own without parental rights being signed away.
Reason? Poverty due to illness and a house that needed a lot of work, but no abuse.

It should be a law, that if a child has to be removed from a home and place in a foster home or adoption. If something horrendous as this or worse happened. The system that placed the child or children there should be sued!
I'm always suspicious of non-black people wanting to adopt black kids. Many times they don't even try to learn how care for the kids' hair or skin. What made this couple so much better to have custody of the kids than the kids parents or other family members? Let kids stay with their own families if the system is going to place them with foster parents who are sociopaths. Ridiculous! I hope those mfs spend the rest of their lives in jail.

Yes, I was thinking the same thing. This would be a time when reparations should be straightforward, because there would be no discussion about pre-Civil War perpetrators and victims who had been dead for over a century and couldn't be punished / helped, Constitution Article 3, tracing their heirs, or calculating how to collect and divvy up the reparations money, etc. The perpetrators and victims of this crime are ALL alive. So when the slave-holders go to prison, seize their assets and divide them among the victims. It won't make up for what happened to them (no amount ever could, even all the money in the world, because human beings are priceless), but it will be something.
But yet they want to force women to have more unwanted children and this will only get to a place we can't even fathom 😢
