- Hello Eveyone! Welcome to my channel 🙂. A couple of months ago I dyed my hair ash blonde | Ash brown silver gray Titanium and today I colored my it again. I bought this Loreal Paris Excellence 8UA Ultra Ash Medium Blonde and soft silver blonde 8S superior preference and mixed them together. The result is not that bad at all😁. I love it.

I’ve never heard that before! It just depends on the color of your hair after lightening, and what color of dye you use! For example, with her.. after she lightened it was brassy/orange-y; if you use an ash color dye, it almost works as a toner and will come out good most of the time esp if you just do toner prior then the dye after.
But if the lightener didn’t lift rly well and you still had right much darkness then put dye over it, you won’t get the result you’re looking for.
It just depends on your process and products on what your outcome will be! 😇
If you have orange hair any hairdye with ash will neutralize it preferably light ash blonde or medium ash blonde

No, what they say is: you can not lift color with color, that means once you use box dye, no matter if professional or from the drug store and then you use box dye again it's very unlikely that you will get the same lift as you would with virgin hair. Over bleached hair you can put anything because it's light and will pick up any color.
I'm old as crank and I'm trying to let my naturally darkish hair dyed blondish go gray in a nice way. I can only find that silvery blonde at Target stores here in the U.S. Nice finish!

Thank you🙂. My roots didn't turn ashy but brown. I think you'll bleach it first to get the utmost result. Since yours is virgin, the color is going to pop out real good.
Please go to a salon. Find someone who’s the best colorist in your area. Virgin true black hair needs to have so much color removed that you could lose hair from over bleaching. A good colorist will test an area and knows how much color to remove and then what to put back in to get the best result without completely depleting or burning out your hair and scalp. All the best!
hi! im asian and had virgin black hair and ive used the loreal lightest blonde to lift my hair color all the time to make it as light as possible and then dye it to the color i want udfhurfhr but dont listen to me since i dont care about my hair as much and ive dyed and bleached it so many times,, but my hair still looks fine so its ok hahah

I am currently really blonde like ash blonde but my roots are dark brown (natural hair) I’m wondering if I go a medium blonde which looks like a golden light brown if I would need to bleach my roots ?
I really don’t want to bleach my hair anymore that’s why I’m going darker because I have about 3 to 4 different blondes on my hair 🥲
Hello I think it won't be even. The roots might be darker or kinda orangey.
Mix highlights with lowlights then a strategic cut and style will let you safely start transitioning back to your natural hair.

You still have a good deal of warmth even though it's an ash type of shade because of the previous hair color you had. This looks nice on you because of your warm olive skin tone and a real ash shade is not compatible with your skin color.
I agree. Is there's specific color you can suggest that is compatible with my skin tone? I'm planning to dye my hair again and having a hard time choosing. I've been wearing dark/light brown for a long time and wanted to try Rose gold but Idk if it will look good on me.
Ashy hair looks amazing on Asian skin tones. And I don't see any warmth left over. Please check your eyes and brain before you leave dumb comments

Can you mix two colours - light ash brown and charcoal grey to get a really cool ash brown? Anyone?
You’ll get a murky result. Ash comes from green in the toner that offsets the red/brassiness. Gray from purple to offset the yellow. Putting any color on without lifting out properly with bleach first will never get a result you like unless it’s on naturally very light blonde hair.
How can I find loreal 8s? In Germany I didn't see this color before?

I tried the ultra ash series (6.11 and 7.11) and it's horrible. Mostly the fumes are extremely toxic. And the result doesn't last.
What was the color before you put these on
@@dreamcatcherismylifesuppor2348 doesn't matter, never had such toxic dye. I am not allergic yet it gave me nausea, headaches, edema and the color wasn't good. The only shade I ever dare to use by L'Oreal is the excellence 8.1 if I want to lighten a lot, but everything by L'Oreal smells so horrible. I avoid it. Literally any other brand smells more neutral. But 8.1 gives a great ash result.

I don't think so. It might turn orange/brassy.
a lot of gold tones still in there, but if you like that, that's all that matters.

You can mix most hair colors together but its best to stick with the same brand, the only ones you can't mix together are the ultra/hi lift colors. While you can mix different brands together you need to be careful is all.
Honestly though the safest thing is to not mix the ultra/hi lift colors with other colors as the formula and developer for ultra/hi lift colors is different than normal colors.

Don't like the color, doesn't look blonde at all, look more brown, too dark for blonde shade, but this color brown more match your appearance than blonde shade.
You made it more ashey for the thumbnail, that's really bad lol. It looks very brassy in reality.
