Oh my gosh yess! I always use the bremod brand on my hair when it comes to color and surprisingly they’re not that damaging at all. I don’t really bleach my hair and I only use the hair colorant to give my hair that dark blonde shade (I color my hair once every three weeks lmao sorry I don’t like dark roots) so I really do trust bremod ❤️

Tip when toning! Unlike the lightner that you’d do the roots after incase of hot roots, do the opposite. Roots first then mid shaft to ends second OR just do the whole head at once. Roots look more natural darker anyway but this should ensure the toning was on long enough to grab on the hair. The ends will always grab ash first and can get over toned by mistake. Especially if they have been colored previously. You don’t necessary get hot roots when toning hair unless you don’t leave it on long enough. It also could have been that the roots needed to be lifted more but that’s why they didn’t take as much on the top. Always do roots first with color and/or toning or just do it all at once. And do roots last when lifting with lightner(bleach)! BUT GREAT JOB EITHER WAY!
So I'm about to do my granddaughters hair from ginger dye to ash blonde, so I should do roots first?
@@chrisbyars5515are you lifting her hair with lightener first? Or putting a darker blonde on her? If you’re lifting(bleaching) first then you do roots last but if you just plan to put a darker hair color all over then just apply it all at the same time.
It actually doesn’t really matter if you do the roots first if it’s just an all over permanent color. It only matter if you’re toning. Toning and an all over color is different.
Also, depending on how dark the ginger is it may not take at all. Wish I could help more. But I can’t see any pics of what you are starting with. Hope this helps.
I’d recommend 10 volume developer personally if you leave toner on roots. 20v gave me hot roots on my natural hair near scalp and lifted slightly to a goldtone;(
@@NickiGTV always use 10 for toning. Once you use 20 it’s considered a permanent color because it lifts. Hence the hot roots. Toning is never over 10 volume. Toning is only depositing color and 10vol will deposit color. 20vol will lift and deposit.
@@megannkistler Can you help me please. I bleached my hair wrong only at the front. So i did rinsage over it with hair dye 7.0 but the streaks at the front turned ginger the rest of my hair was a nice brown. Then i did it again with ultra ash brown dye (not rinsage I actually dyed all my hair) and the two streaks at the front were a nice ash brown but the rest of my hair esp the top turned ginger?? I dont know why, but the bottom part is nicer brown. Anyways I cant afford to go to a salon and I dont know how to make my hair one colour. Is my only solution to bleach all of it and put hair dye?? I dont want to damage my hair.

I initially wanted to get platinum blonde and I was recommended to tone with ash blonde because it works better at getting rid of the brass than regular blonde toners.
After rinsing it off I had such a gorgeous ash blonde hair and I love it so I'm keeping it.
So basically what she did was bleach it all over and then mix toner with ash blonde hair dye?
