+Monique Montagne Yes, you can do this in 1 inches sections. Make your coil/chain for 1 inch of ends per inch as per your thread choice, then set your comb of choice over the correct section and wind on just like a 2 inch one.
Does anyone know why she uses the false cross? The second video skips to having cut it, so I wasn't sure what it's purpose is instead of just wrapping around the last peg? Novice here, so just trying to make sense of each step :)

the tension box is pricey! how do you do this with a raddle instead of tension box?
I'm interested in this technique too, can you do this without a tension box and home made rattle.
