Our Channel is focused on LIVE Plane Spotting from Manchester International Airport, UK. Live streaming from the Runway Visitor Park, Manchester Airport. If you do have rudder pedals, using the yoke twist as the front wheel rudder is quite a nice setup too!
I really miss flight sims.... but i found myself messing around in the files more than actually flying! I miss it all..... i did have a thrust master and it was brilliant........Wireless and perfect.
Well, messing around in the files is half the fun imo 😅

I gotta tell ya, though this video is a year old it gave me the one thing I was looking for - The proper way to hook up the cables. I got this as a b-day gift this month (January, 2024). I LOVE IT!!!! There are so many options on what to do with all the buttons it can e a little exhausting. Regardless, great video. And THANK YOU for quickly mention something that may have been obvious to many but not to all. SUB!!!

It annoys me that the airbus version works perfectly out of the box, reverse thrust included. But the Boeing variant doesn’t. It’s so dumb.

how does it go on a mouse pad like a desk mat, does it slide around or is it pretty stable.
hello, did you have any problems when activating the autopilot? I with thrustmaster and controller connected when I activate the autopilot it goes into a bug and it is no longer possible to adjust it

What would you suggest to get for a GA simpilot? Ive got the cheap Logitech 3D Extreme PRO now (Not sure how it got its name). Looking for something alround, but with more buttons (still a joystick though, not antyhing you clamp onto your desktop), but more solid, no mid-problems etc. Fair amount of resistance etc. What to get? I would be great if you have 2 throttle quadrants, and also flaps etc - just like this one, but its just TOO much Airbus for me, as a GA flyer...
does the speed break work now? or do you still have to actuate it in game before using it?
I got mine for Christmas, but ran into the problem where the throttle control slides back a bit when put on full or half even. It will not stay. Does anyone have this issue? Reviews from other users are saying the same.
I got mine yesterday. I downloaded the software and booted up xplane 11. In the joystick settings both the sidestick and quadrant show up and calibrate however once I load into the Zibo, the Sidestick doesn’t work. The cursor [+] is showing but the quad still works. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Great video. I'm pairing this with the TPR on my Xbox and the rudders work but not the brakes. The mapping in the manual doesn't match the mapping on the control settings. Do you have any idea on how to map this correctly?

Question: looking at buying this Hotas, but wondering if I would be able to use the pedals from my thrustmaster steering wheel as my rudder pedals. I’ve got a sim racing seat set up, and it would be really cool if I didn’t have to buy separate rudder pedals for when I’m flying. Thank you!
First, you don't need rudder pedals, and I also have a wheel but with my Thrustmaster and Logitech wheel the pedals don't work as rudder pedals because real pedals have a special kind of "input".
Xbox Version: Here is my review: I had this thing for 1 year now. They need to make it a bit heavier so its feels more realistic, it has that cheap plastic. When you grip the stick it comes off the table because it's light cheap plastic. I strapped mine down with double sided tape. The gameplay setup is realistic I like it though for its price. When you plug it in its all set to go, no configs needed except for some light tweak setups. You can fly 2 engine aircraft but if you want to fly a 747 4 engine aircraft you need to adjust the throttle settings. Many youtube tutorials online. Next: Don't buy rudder pedals to attach to the stick. Waste of money. They are never accurate and you start rolling off the runway. The stick has a nice rudder turn feature. Flaps and spoilers work great. The release brake is accurate. The reversers are a big help, when you land just pull throttle levers back and you can reverse easily. Gear up/down is great. Comes with a giant printed configuration map in the box, but its confusing as hell. Ignore it. Banking left and right pretty accurate and on point. Space. A big fail they did was: No Trim wheel adjustment. Some aircrafts tends to pitch up at high altitudes and its hard to pitch down with the stick to adjust the aircraft back down to the horizon level. Make sure you have enough space to fit the stick, quadrant keyboard and mouse. It took me 2 weeks to adjust to this configuration, at first it will seem a bit hard getting used to flying with a stick and throttle separately, I felt frustrated but I finally mastered my landings.

Not a requirement :) you can use the TCA pack just fine.

I don't think so, I think it just works with xbox now
Great Vid but you forgot to mention 2 things: 1. Will this work on any other Aircraft? 2. If you buy only the throttle will it work? (Or do you need to buy both)
Example: I know The Boeing Throttle is useless without buying the Yoke because you need to plug it into the Yoke for it to function.
It does indeed work on other aircraft. Yes, you can use both independently as they both have a USB type C on the back.

I've just ordered Thrustmaster TCA Captain Pack X Airbus Edition for myself - it should be at my house tomorrow. I look forward to it since most of my lights nowadays are done on Fenix A320 or FBW A320 Neo. Somehow PMDG 737 seems inferior (and I'm saying that as person who started the flying adventure on MS 2000 / Dreamfleet 737)

the xbox buttons on the stick (abxy) are they mirrored or they can be assigned individually?
We have only used this on the PC. I assume since they're the same on both sides of the stick that they can be assigned individually.

Do you know if you can buy the actual throttles (not the flaps etc.) Separately that still works for Xbox as the one on the thrust master store says the stand alone throttle only works on PC
For xbox users you may have to buy the entire set

Same case as I am and it works. I just bought the quadrant and addon separately with the sidestick and it works on xbox
If you want extra 2 throttles to make 4 engines it’s not available for Xbox, only PC for now. I checked on Amazon but if the PC one works on Xbox let me know

How is this device when flying the other aircraft in the game? Is it a waste if you don’t primarily fly the airbus?
No as you can assign the bindings to the other counterparts. Example, the engine start switches can be binded to the fuel levers in the Boeing 737 etc.

Yes, you can just assign throttle 1 + 2 to the left throttle etc.
